However Delhi Daredevils are not as strong contenders this IPL season but Chennai Super Kings is a team that is known for this sluggish start play and then shoot up to the top.  The team has earlier made to the finals 4 times in IPL and is no easy competitor to fight.

On the other side  last year's Champion Kolkata Knight Riders are  in the fix this season and after their last defeat against Punjab they definitely be looking for a win this time get back on tracks. Their defeat against the bottom posted Punjab Kolkata needs to all the negatives with this loss and they need to work on their team play.

Kolkata Knight Riders

The last IPL season show stealers and trophy winners Kolkata Knight Riders are having a tough time this season. They are not in the same form and the highlight of the team last time Manvinder Bisla who clinched the win from Chennai last year is not able to stabilize himself on pitch this season. Adding to misery of the team is  out of form play of Jacques Kallis captain Gambhir  is forced to bring in the most expensive buy this IPL auction Brendon McCullum in the team order.

The team already has 3 defeats at their hands out of 5 total matches they have played.  Knight Riders will be bucking up their bowling order this time to patch up the flaws of their middle order team. Sunil Narine and Sachitra Senanayake are performing doubtfully and team cannot rely on them. On the good part there is Brett Lee who's bowling performance ca change any play upside down. Captain Gambhir is also a strength in the batting order with three half centuries on his name and Eoin Morgan is the final wrapper of the game.

Chennai Super Kings

The performance of Hussey in the last match makes may wonder why Captain Dhoni dropped him against Pune. After Nannes in the pavilion due to his injury Hussey and Dhoni gave Daredevils a tough fight gift wrapping their 6th consecutive defeat in this IPL season. Strengthening the play of the team are Murali Vijay and Suresh Raina.

Making a further reinforcement is Faf du Plessis; the bating sensation of South Africa is making it difficult for Dhoni to make a selection. Altogether looking at all stats Chennai Super Kings need to include all rounders’ Chris Morris, Albie Morkel and Dwayne Bravo in the team.

In the bowling department spinners Sir Jadeja and Ravi Ashwin are honestly performing their part. Also Mohit Sharma is an asset for Chennai.
