Acid can still be found prominently on the independent circuit across America and remains one of the most popular and talented independent workers to never land a contract with a big name promotion such as the WWE or TNA wrestling despite arguably being over qualified to do so. With youth still on his side, wrestling fans may one day be treated to seeing the in-ring prowess of the young and talented Trent Acid on their television screens in 2009 and beyond providing one of the big promotions decide to give him a chance which he has evidently earned.

Michael Verdi (November 12, 1980 – June 18, 2010) was an American professional wrestler best known by his ring name Trent Acid. Verdi had worked as a tag team wrestler for most of his career, primarily as part of The Backseat Boyz with Johnny Kashmere, in several independent promotions in America, including Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Unplugged, and Combat Zone Wrestling. However, Acid had also worked a singles career with several promotions, including Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

Acid was arrested and jailed on several drug charges, being given probation. When that probation was violated, he ended up serving time in jail. During that time period, he noted to everyone how he wanted to get clean and get back to his two loves, music (he idolized Eddie Vedder) and pro wrestling.

In wrestling, Acid was a regular part of early Ring of Honor shows, teaming with Kashmere to defeat Homicide and Steve Corino in an interpromotional match between CZW and ROH at the very first Glory by Honor show. The Backseat Boyz held the ROH Tag Titles in 2003 and took part in most of the company's 2004 shows. Throughout his career, Acid competed for promotions as varied as Big Japan Pro Wrestling and Juggalo Championship Wrestling, the Detroit based promotion founded by the Insane Clown Posse.

World Cup Tie Breakers Group Performing To Advance

This all seems well and good, but personally I'd like to see more weight given to head-to-head results. If two teams finish with the same number of points but one team has beaten the other, I think the winning team deserves to go through. It should be as simple as that.

a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches;
b) goal difference in all group matches;
c) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches.

If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three criteria, their rankings will be determined as follows:
d) greatest number of points obtained in the group matches between the teams concerned;
e) goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams concerned;
f) greater number of goals scored in all group matches between the teams concerned;
g) drawing of lots by the FIFA Organising Committee.

But not everyone agrees on how to split teams that finish level on points. There are various methods used in various orders of preference by various soccer leagues. Goal difference, goals scored, head to head record, games won, a specially arranged playoff. Tossing a coin and drawing lots even comes into it, when things get desperate.

The table standings FIFA sent to the local football governing body FUFA indicate that Uganda are second in Group 3 , and will be among the teams considered as best runners-up after next week's final round, if they beat Benin.

White says, "I don't say these things to call attention to myself or to get a rise out of people. I say them because I believe them. We're living in times when critics get fired if they don't like enough movies. People don't need to hear what mouthpieces for the movie industry tell them. They need to hear the truth."

Armond White is a New York-based film critic, based at the alt-weekly New York Press. His reviews for New York Press, Film Comment and The City Sun have been discussed in The New York Times, Time magazine, Cineaste and Sight and Sound and the web magazine Senses of Cinema.

It was White's sheer bloody-mindedness that got to them. Unlike the apparent majority of those readers, I have seen the film. It enraged some readers when White wrote, "That cartoonish Mothership image suggests the high-concept inanity featured in 'Children of Men' and 'Cloverfield:' It's apocalyptic silliness. Not ominously beautiful like the civilization-in-peril tableau that caps Roy Andersson's 'You, the Living.'."

Basically the only power White has is when he gets the internet all riled up to yell at him. All of a sudden the discussion is no longer about how good Toy Story 3 is, it's about this one single opinion, and that's completely and totally because of you (the rhetorical you, of course). Armond White isn't cluttering Twitter with discussion of Armond White's negative review, it's the people who ostensibly love Toy Story 3.

All this, along with sites like Armond Dangerous—Parsing the Confounding Film Criticism of Mr. Armond White, which offers coverage of White's self- declared "humanist" jeremiad against Williamsburg-style "nihilism" (the page links to an article called "Hip to Be Square: Armond White vs. the Ghost Hipsters Part 16"), brings a smile to the critic's eternally bemused, goateed face.

Sure they have tied, but a tie is a lot like kissing your sister when you're the overwhelming favorite. The problem is, the U.S. did actually score a third goal which was waived, a goal that would have sealed victory and advancement. Some say bad officiating is a part of the game, and it is, but when it is so blatantly awful and no review is used, then that is just wrong.

Joseph Gannascoli Subsequently Arrested And Charged With The DUI

The actor is the only Sopranos castmember to play two different characters in the hit series, appearing first in season one as a pastry shop owner named Gino before going on to essay the regular role of Vito, who took over as Capo after the deaths of Richie, Gigi and Ralph. He was found to be g@y in season five, leading to his eventual murder.

Joseph R. Gannascoli (born February 15, 1959) is an American actor most notable for his portrayal of Vito Spatafore on the HBO series, The Sopranos.

The actor from the HBO drama was driving a 2010 Dodge when police noticed that he was weaving. The cops then proceeded to pull Gannascoli over and he underwent a series of sobriety tests, which he allegedly failed. He was subsequently arrested and charged with the DUI.

In what Gannascoli cheerfully calls "the year of the queer," when "Brokeback Mountain" became a phenomenon and Philip Seymour Hoffman won an Oscar playing Truman Capote, Gannascoli's character (spoiler alert: read no further if you haven't seen the episode yet) was outed Sunday night on "The Sopranos."

Lil Boosie Goes To Jail Marijuana Possession and a Weapon Possession Charge

Lil Boosie will serve one year in prison at least after his lawyers reached a deal that all but two of a 10-year sentence were suspended. He will then be on active supervised probation for two to five years.

"I'm ready to get this behind me," Boosie, 25, told Judge Chip Moore one week before he was scheduled to stand trial in connection with his October 22 arrest.

It could very possibly hurt his career since this happened right after a new album was released. His album is titled, "The Return of Your Favorite Artist." So far it has been doing very well on the charts. Not being able to tour and promote it, will for cause hardships I can see. So far his album is still doing very well on the charts. He is going to have to really watch himself after he gets out of jail because he will be on probation for quite some time. This is not setting a good example for his fans, so hopefully he can get his act together. He says that his music will help him to get through this time spent in jail.

Lil Boosie will be going to jail for 2 years instead of 20 after being charged with third-offense marijuana possession and a weapon possession charge as well,back in October of 2008. But his guilty plea and good behavior could get him a 1 year sentence.Boosie recently dropped a CD called "Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz" that is doing great on the charts.

apper Lil Boosie has been sentenced to two years behind bars after pleading guilty to gun and drug possession charges. The Wipe Me Down hitmaker, real name Torrence Hatch, was arrested late last year (08) after police found a gun, Marijuana and a cigar laced with another drug on his person during a traffic stop.

"Yes, I'm getting married to Samrat. He's from Nepal, like me. But please, it is not an arranged marriage," said Manisha, who will move base to Kathmandu after the wedding.

"Yes, our families know one another for some years now. So there was a comfort level between me and Samrat for a very long time. Gradually the bonding grew from friendship to love. And when Samrat asked me to marry him, I agreed," she said.

"I was totally cut off in Kerala shooting for Shayam Prasad's Malayalam film. I had no idea my marriage plans were being discussed in my absence. Now I see dates and venue in the papers. Like I said, the wedding is on June 19. It will take place in Kathmandu and will be attended by Samrat's and my close family and friends," said the actress.

The actress is from a political family in Nepal who had begun her Bollywood career in 1991 with director Subhash Ghai's Saudagar. She followed giving many hit movies such as Dil Se, Khamoshi, 1942: A Love Story, Akele Hum Akele Tum to name a few. Right now Manisha is all set to make a comeback in Tamil cinema with Dhanush starrer 'Mappillai'.

Manisha Koirala has also been brand ambassador of UNICEF. she is also known for being grand daughter of first Prime Minister of Nepal. She actively supported last King of Nepal Gyanendra. Though Abhishek's Beera could have done away with the eccentric antics it indulged in (which provoked neither fear nor laughter), his zealous energy was infectious and rubbed off nicely against Ragini aka Aishwarya whose sapphire-blue eyes wielded the hypnotic magic that neither an Angelina nor a Robert Pattinson are capable of radiating.

Story as Dave (Prithviraj) is a police officer who was appointed and difficult to catch up Veeraiah (Vikram). During the marriage to the sister's Veeraiah (Priyamani), Dave attacks him and hurt him. In the meantime, Veeraiah sister gets arrested by the police for interrogation, but gets gang raped by the police. This irks Veeraiah wreaks violently against the police.

Highly anticipated movie of the year, Raavan is all set to release on June 18th 2010. The movie releases as Raavan in Hindi, Raavanan in Tamil and Villain in Telugu. Raavan Movie is directed by Mani Ratnam and acted by Abhishek Bachchan , Vikram and Aishwarya Rai.

Koman Coulibaly, a Malian football referee, made many bad decision. Firstly, when the US players was brought down right before the penalty area. He gave the Slovenian a yellow and not a red card. Then the latest and the most controversial decision was when he cancel the US third goal.

Coulibaly holds the record of 5 appearances in African Cups with fellow Mail referee Drissa Traoré. Coulibaly was selected for the Africa Cup of nations in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010. He got the final of that last one.

Molly Ray And Jason Phillips Are Getting Married This Sunday

Jason Phillips supposedly noticed Molly Ray in the stands while he was playing and extra inning game last year and impulsively wanted to make contact with her. He wrote his phone number on a ball and threw it to Molly Ray and when the game was over he found a text message with her name and number. The love story began then and on Sunday in the Mariner's bullpen at Safeo Field, the couple will get married after the team's match against Cincinnati Red ends.

The strangers met, and started dating in May 2009. By the summer of 2010, Molly Ray and Jason Phillips were ready to get married, at the spot where they first met and fell in love at first sight. It may be the first marriage performed at a bullpen.

"Toy Story 3," the third and final entry in Pixar's animated saga of toys Woody and Buzz Lightyear, opens tomorrow and film fans have been keeping a close eye on the movie website Rotten Tomatoes all week.

Toy Story 3 opens in the U.S. today (not until mid-July in the U.K.) and it already has earned a 9.5 rating on IMDB from over 1,000 votes. Of course I'm desperate to read if Pixar have knocked it out of the ball park once again…

As is, it's a good sequel to the 1999 "Toy Story 2″ and the 1995 original. After a rather shrill and conventional first half, more in the DreamWorks style, it recaptures the old comic spark with a splendid ode to "The Great Escape" as cowboy Woody, spaceman Buzz Lightyear, cowgirl Jessie, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head.

A handful of embargo-friendly musings (i.e. general reactions but nothing in-depth that could bring about a lawsuit) have begun popping up all over the place and the general consensus is that the movie is excellent and Disney have a massive hit on their hands.
