Salman Khan's fans love to see him take off his shirt and flaunt his brawny bod. That's precisely what he has done in one of the promos of his first production venture, Chillar Party.

The film, set to release on July 8, is a children's film with characters named like Encyclopedia, Jhangia, Akram, Secondhand, Panauti, Silencer, Aflatoon, Shaolin and Fatka.

One of the promos recently shot in Mumbai has Salman Khan joking around with these kids. At one point he takes off his shirt and all the kids follow suit.

Says a source: "Salman Khan has been trying to make sure that 'Chillar Party' does well at theatres and is watched by many people because it's a story with a heart. Salman has already made an appeal for the film to be made tax-free and he has also got Ranbir Kapoor do to a special item song."

In an attempt at tongue-in-cheek hilarity, Ramu tries to express his joy over Ash's pregnancy while at the same time praise her beauty by the tweets that may not be liked by some fans of the actress.

Ramu tweeted to Abhishek Bachchan: "@juniorbachchan I hate beautiful women becoming pregnant but since she's ur wife I will make an exception ..congraaaaaaaats :( ".

Then perhaps realizing that his tweet was a tad flippant, Ramu added an hour later: "I worship beautiful women nd I hate to see them evr bcm mothers nd in case of aishwarya since she's the most beautiful I hate it even more...That's me as a fan of the most beautiful woman on earth but being close 2 the so loving couple if that makes them happy it makes me double happy."

Abhishek Bachchan, who is quite prompt in replying to all those who tweet him, did not reply to Ramu's tweet.

Kangana Ranaut is sure turning out to be quite a fashionista. The girl did grab a lot of eyeballs on the opening day of IIFA 2011 in Toronto when she walked the green carpet for the premiere of her film Double Dhamaal on Thursday.

Kangana opted for a one-shoulder beige gown and a crystal studded clutch. She was particularly taken over by the fans who cheered her from the sidelines. What caught everyone's eye was the tattoo on Kangana's nape (revealed ahead).

Coiffered and bedecked, Kangana sashayed down the green carpet, greeted a few fans, and even gave sound bytes to the Indian news channels that made it to IIFA.

Comedy works at box office. Now, that's a serious observation again verified by the good opening-day response to the Friday's release Double Dhamaal.

Though panned by majority of critics, the film opened very well at box office on Friday. At certain theatres, it ran to packed houses while at others it attracted a good number of bums on seats. Going by the trade figures, the film saw a response averaging 70 percent on its opening day. It is likely to go up on Saturday and Sunday, as is usually the trend.

Meanwhile, of the last week's releases, Bheja Fry 2 leads the race with a collection of Rs. 8.5 crore nett. The collection can be termed decent, but the film has fared below expectations. Always Kabhi Kabhi is a disaster with the first-week collection standing and stagnating at a mere Rs 1.75 crores.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan's Ready is still racing on full throttle. The film rounded off its three-week collection with a figure of Rs. 115 crores. A superhit!

The coming Friday would see the release of two important films: Delhi Belly and Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap. Both the films are expected to get a good opening.

This is one of the best makeovers of the year so far. Sanjay Dutt, the happy father of twins, going bald and bad for the remake of Agneepath starring Hrithik Roshan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan.

Dutt's tonsured look, his beefed-up brawns, particularly those rippling biceps with elaborate tattoos, and his piercing, bloodshot eyes simply have us transfixed.

However, this makeover was not easily achieved. Sanjay Dutt had to sweat it out close to three hours in the gym every day. Half an hour for the warm-up. One hour for cardio; and an hour-and-a-half for the weights.

Where there is Shahrukh Khan, there are smiles galore. From the moment he landed in Toronto for IIFA 2011, Shahrukh was at his entertaining best, joking, dancing, hand-shaking, hugging, and charming his many fans.

The badshah Khan has returned to IIFA after a hiatus of six years. Though his knee hasn't been in good shape and almost scuttled his plan to attend and perform at IIFA 2011, Shahrukh Khan finally made it to Toronto on Friday and was greeted with cheers and dances by the fans.

At the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, hundreds of fans gathered to see Shahrukh. Some of the female fans yelled "I love you, Shahrukh!" and the superstar greeted them all with his sweet smile. Some girls came forward to hug him and he politely obliged them.

Katrina Kaif has outshone other beautiful contenders from Bollywood to bag the lead role in the Yashraj Film Dhoom 3.
