Currently placed at no.6 Punjab is a potential team that can prove to be lethal for Sunrisers.

On the other side the newbie team Sunrisers Hyderabad is one position ahead the Kings XI. The team must be working out for a balance between its play as they trembled miserably against the Chennai Super Kings in their last match.

Kings XI Punjab

If we talk about the team Kings XI Punjab then the name that will be echoing all over is that of David Miller. What a magnificent performance he has given against the Royal Challengers and Rajasthan team in the last couple of innings. He took his time to get on track and now once he is all geared up to fire runs Sunrisers have to look out for his cautiously. Further strengthening the team's play is David Hussey  who is aptly supporting the Miller machine is adding runs for the team. However the other players in the batting order still need to brush up their play to lead the team for a win.

In the bowling section Dmitri Mascarenhas, Azhar Mahmood and Michael Neser are the ones who will be shuffled this time. Manpreet Gony and Praveen Kumar still have the major responsibility of the team to lead the team for a victory.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

On one side the Punjab team is gaining rhythm in the batting performance while on the other side the Sunrisers are still falling prey to their batting foes. The Hyderabad team is still fighting to stabilize their batting performance but not able to. However the team has made improvements in their play recently. In  batting order Shikhar Dhawan is an important name for the team while Parthiv Patel and Akshath Reddy still to impress fans with their performance. The below average play of the Pune Warriors remain to be the show that they put up for the in their last inning as well. Kolkata Knight Riders smashed the team in yet again a win-win encounter by 46 runs and there are not many counts on the team left. On the other side Mumbai Indians will be playing this match after a winning encounter where they have lashed the Kolkata Knight Riders by a drastic margin.

So this is an opportunity for the Mumbai team to increase their ranking which is currently placed at third position in the IPL 6 ranking.

Match Venue and Date

In the 58th IPL 6 match Pune Warriors will be hosting Mumbai Indians. The match will be played at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, Pune on May 11, 2013 starting at 4:00 pm.

Pune Warriors

Already at the bottom of the chart there is not much for the Pune Warriors to count on this IPL season. They have continuously performed below the average line and still they are in the same pitch. They are not able to get themselves out of the defeating vicious circle that is now proving to be a bottle neck for them.

In the last inning they simply showed the batting full of errors apart from the Angelo Mathews and Robin Uthappa none of the other batsmen were able to touch a score of double figures.  The situations has got worst for the team and Captain Aaron Finch  will be the man who will be feeling the most burn out of this match. In the bowling section Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashok Dinda, Rahul Sharma and Kane Richardson were not at all able to contain the KKR batsmen giving them an easy win.

Mumbai Indians

After ruining the play of the Kolkata Knight Riders in their last battle Mumbai Indians will be looking for a win against the Pune Warriors this time. Looking at the past performances of the team Pune Warriors it is obvious that it can be an easy opportunity for the Mumbai Team to benefit their ranking by clinching 2 more points of this match.

Their show against the KKR and CSK in their last couple of innings have boosted their morale to all time high and Mumbai will not prove to be an easy team for the Pune to compete with. Skipper Rohit Sharma   will be looking for an experiment in this match and we can witness a reshuffle in the team's batting order.

In the bowling section we will get to see the same names performing this time again. Harbhajan Singh who has proved his worth in the last few innings will be looking forward to continue with his play while Mitchell Johnson and Pragyan Ojha will again be important names for Mumbai in bowling order.
