Health Care bill Live Streaming Updates: Formal debate begins, voting to take place soon

The live house session in the US House of Representatives has just begun for the health care vote that is to take place today. The health care vote holds imminent significance as if it is passed, it will be one of the biggest overhaul in the US health care system in four decades.

The Democrats claimed that they had the necessary 216 votes at the start of the session to get the bill through. The bill is framed to provide coverage of healthcare to millions uninsured and provide a legislation which would make it necessary for the health insurance companies to provide the necessary help.

President Obama cancelled his trip to Asia to involve himself in the lobbying efforts for the Health care vote. The live formal debate on the bill began at 6 pm GMT with the health care vote expected to begin somewhere around afternoon or evening. It will be interesting to see how the health care vote count shapes up and what the results would be of this historical bill. It was an amazing game, especially in the ending over. Both the teams' players and stadium audiences were feeling the pressure and watching each ball while stopping their breath and finally the stadium was roaring when the score leveled with 2 balls remaining. And suddenly there were two dot balls by Pathan with a wicket on the last ball, and the game becomes the 1st to be a tie in IPL 2010.

A Super Over: Hufff!!! What a game, this is the true excitement of IPL T20 that everyone witnessed here in Chennai today. After the tie excitement was on a high among each head in the stadium and in home who were watching in TV or Youtube. After the tie, each squad picked 3 batsmen, and who need to face 6 balls, from the nominated bowler. They could lose two wickets at the most, & the squad that scores more was to be announced winner.

CSK Super Over: Hayden and Morkel came from CSK to play the super over first. Theron was the bowler from KXIP to do the over. Now everyone was expecting the magic of Mongoose of Hayden. Morkel faced the 1st ball of Theron and one run took by Morkel by hitting in 3rd man. Then the 2nd ball to Hayden, Bolded him. Hayden was bold on the 2nd ball. Raina was the next batsman to face the 3rd ball, Raina hit in the air to off side to covers and 2 runs taken by Raina. 4th ball, and Raina hit a SIX on the 4th Ball, ball was slower but Raina was aware about it and punished. 5th Ball, and Raina tried again to hit over midwicket but a top edge and he was caught. After the KXIP needs to make 10 runs to win the game in one over with 2 wickets in hand.

KXIP Super Over: Murli was chosen by CSK, he was in form bowler today, so obvious choice by Raina. KXIP came with Jayawardhane and Yuvraj Singh to open in the Super Over. 1st ball by Murli to Jaya, SIX Jaya hit the ball over the head. 2nd ball to Jaya, same shot by Jaya but he was caught in long on. Next was Yuvraj to play the 3rd ball, Irfan came but at the other end. 3rd ball, Yuvi tried sweep but missed. 4th ball, Yuvraj tried Seep Shot and it was a 4. Yes Yuvraj done it for KXIP. Nice shot by Yuvraj to finish the game.

The time of the health care vote has finally arrived with the house ready to vote today on one of the most significant issues raised by President Obama in his election campaign. The enormity of this Health care vote can be gauged from the fact that such an overhaul was dreamed of only 45 years back.

Both the republicans and the democrats were busy gathering support regarding the health care vote. The ones pro health care vote felt that they didn't necessarily have 216 votes at the moment but were sure that they would be able to make it in the count.

There were those republicans who feared that voting for the health care vote this time and its finalization would lead to increase in health care costs and a big loss in elections.

The health care vote debate took an ugly turn when critics started using racist slurs. The last time such an intensity was seen was in 1960s during the civil rights protests. In his speech Obama opined that the voters should keep in mind that "good policy is good politics". It will be interesting to see where the wheel turns when the time of the health care vote arrives.

The IPL commissioner Lalit Modi told the media that the brain behind this five member consortium was Shashi Tharoor.
