Halo Reach Beta Code Competition Is On the Go Posted: 29 Apr 2010 07:20 PM PDT Codes will be posted randomly throughout the day, with a total of 10 codes being posted each day (5 on our Facebook page and 5 on our Twitter page). There will be no rhyme or reason to the times selected; codes will pop up when they pop up. Each code posted to Facebook and Twitter will be missing one of the 25 characters needed for its activation. The first person to correctly enter the code into Xbox Live by guessing the missing character will have access to the Halo: Reach Multiplayer beta. Each code can only be activated once, so as soon as it is claimed, it will not be available for use by any other person–once a code is claimed, it is gone. The Halo: Reach beta is here, and we've got codes to give away! 25 to be exact. We won't be giving them away right at this moment, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up on how this will work, and when it will go down. At 4:00 PM Eastern time, is when this will all go down. It's then that I will post another story which will contain a numbered list of 25 redeemable codes. The catch: each will be missing the last five digits. How do you get the rest of the codes? Simply follow me on Twitter (@nickchester), where I will be tweeting the remaining digits over the course of an hour or two until they're all gone. For example, if I tweet "Code #7: XYZHR," those will be the last five digits of code number 7. It's your job to be quick on your toes piecing the code together, and redeeming it for your access to the Halo: Reach beta. Thursday, April 29th through Sunday, May 2nd, Halo Waypoint will give away a total of 10 "Friends and Family" beta codes a day (5 a day on Twitter and 5 a day on Facebook). The codes will be posted randomly throughout each day, and each will grant one person access to the Halo: Reach Multiplayer beta. For full details on this giveaway, continue reading to learn the full details involved. Who Is Eligible to Participate in This Giveaway? Anyone over the age of 17 may participate. Posted: 29 Apr 2010 07:01 PM PDT There Are So Many Joel Rogers But Currently We will talk about two of them who are very famouse and lavishing persons. Joel Rogers is professor of law, political science, and sociology, and director of the Center on Wisconsin Strategy (COWS), a research center and project laboratory for progressive state and local policy (see "Devolve This!," The Nation, August 30, 2004). Rogers has written widely on democratic theory, American politics, and comparative public policy. Recent books include Working Capital: Using the Power of Labor's Pensions, America's Forgotten Majority: Why the White Working Class Still Matters, and Metro Futures: Economic Solutions for the Cities and their Suburbs. As reflected in the Public Law & Private Power course he regularly teaches at the law school, his major legal interests follow from essentially political ones, viz. finding a successor to the institutions and mass politics of social democracy and the Keynesian welfare state. Rogers is a contributing editor of The Nation and Boston Review, and a MacArthur Foundation fellow. Newsweek recently identified him as one of the 100 Americans most likely to affect U.S. politics and culture in the 21st century. and the other One. Joel Augustus Rogers (September 6, 1880 — March 26, 1966) was a Jamaican-American author, journalist, and historian who contributed to the history of Africa and the African diaspora, especially the history of African Americans in the United States. His research spanned the academic fields of history, sociology and anthropology. He challenged prevailing ideas about race, demonstrated the connections between civilizations, and traced African achievements. He was one of the greatest popularizers of African history in the 20th century. While living in Chicago for a time in the 1920s, Rogers worked as a Pullman porter and as a reporter for the Chicago Enterprise. His job of Pullman porter allowed Rogers to travel and observe a wide range of people. Through this travel, Rogers was able to feed his appetite for knowledge, by using various libraries in the cities which he visited. Rogers self-published the results of his research in several books.
