Today all hopes of Kings XI Punjab were dashed for Semi-final by Rajasthan Royals. RR won the match by 9 wickets. KXIP made 153 in 20 twenty over which was chased by Rajasthan Royals in 15 overs. Rajasthan Royals made 157 runs. Opener Michael Lumb pummelled 83 off 43 balls to deliver Rajasthan their third straight victory. Mahela Jayawardene top-scored again for KXIP. Michael Lumb remained Man of the match. Match 2 Result (KKR vs. DD), Result: KKR won the match by 14 runs. The second match of the day is played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils in Kolkata. It was a tight match with amazing display of cricket. KKR was all charged up. They put up a target of 182 with a contribution of Sourav Ganguly (50) and middle order. Ashok Dinda shown his class with fiery performance from very first ball. At the end the result was KKR won by 14 runs and Sourav Ganguly named man of the match. Matches Tomorrow on April 8th 2009 at 8:00 PM IST: DC vs. RCB Tomorrow, the match is between Deccan Chargers and Royal Challengers Banglore. Deccan Charger is on 7th rank in points table with 6 points. Deccan Chargers will have to win all the remaining matches. So, tomorrow, it will be a do or die for Deccan Chargers.
