Julio César Chávez Carrasco (born February 16, 1986 in Culiacán, Sinaloa), a Mexican boxer, known in the English-speaking world as Julio César Chávez Jr. The son of Legendary Boxing Champion Julio César Chávez and then-wife Amalia Carrasco. He was born when his father held the WBC World Championship at Junior Lightweight. His younger brother Omar Chávez is also an undefeated prospect who fights at Welterweight.

Fedor Loses And Defeated By Fabricio Werdum

Fabricio Werdum defeated Fedor Emelianenko in the first round on Saturday night at HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. This is the first defeat for Fedor Emelianenko in 10 years. Fedor Emelianenko made an error by carelessly jumping into the Brazilian's guard. Emelianenko was failed to establish the position, giving his head and left arm exposed. From their, Fabricio Werdum never gave a chance to Emelianenko to bounce back and Fedor felt on Werdum's hip. Match referee, John McCarthy called off the first round.

Fedor was on the ground with Rogers he never took advantage of the situation. In the second round Fedor generated a few seconds of excitement with a flurry of blocked punches against the cage, right around this point is when Rogers got a little too highly likely that the two will meet again very soon as the next President's Cup is coming up and a rubber match between the champions will be inevitable.

Sergio Vega Always a Little Further at the Arsenale

Vega is an Associate Professor at the School of Art and Art History at the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. He received his MFA in sculpture from Yale University, New Haven, CT, and was an Artist in Residence there in 2006-2007. He was awarded The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship and the Ford/Phillip Morris Foundation Fellowship from Yale University, New Haven, CT.

The eighth son in a family of 13, Sergio lived among uncles and members of an extended family who would play songs and sing before heading out for the day's work. Sergio "El Shaka" Vega was born into a musical family in the working-class rural village of Ciudad Obregon, in the state of Sonora, Mexico.

His work has been included in the Sharjah Biennial 8, Still Life, Art, Ecology & the Politics of Change, Sharjah Expo Center, United Arab Emirates; and the 51 Biennale di Venezia with Always a Little Further at the Arsenale, Venice, Italy in 2005.

The author claimed that Eden was located in South America. Sergio Vega took up the challenge of finding a specific location and concluded that the biblical paradise was in Brazil. The artwork, titled El Paraiso en el Nuevo Mundo was the result of his studies. Another project has been developed over a number of years and was based on a book, in which the author searched for the origins of the Garden of Eden.

Mondeo Revealed New Ford 2011 with 237-hp 2.0L Ecoboost

The Ford Mondeo is due for a mid-cycle refresh for the 2011 model year and all signs point to a debut at the Paris Motor Show this September. But ahead of its big reveal, spy photographers have caught the new Mondeo out in the open, and while the basic shape hasn't changed, there's something far more interesting under the hood.
The major stylistic upgrades are up front, where the Mondeo's fascia picks up a few cues from the Fiesta and the 2012 Focus, including a larger lower grille and slimmer upper section. The front foglamps have been re-shaped and a strip of LED running lamps tie the design into Ford's B-segment hatch.
At the back, the tailgate gets a subtle re-shaping above the license plate pocket and it appears the lights have been modified under the camo tape. The most important changes will be in the engine compartment, where the Mondeo will get the new 2.0-liter Ecoboost inline-four and the Powershift dual-clutch transmission. Expect all the details to be revealed shortly ahead of the Paris show this fall.

After 90 minutes of play, if BOTH teams are still tied, two 15 minute periods will be played. The 2nd 15 minute is NOT required if a team is ahead after the 1st 15 minutes of play.

Second, there is no such thing as Golden Goal Rule here. The extra time should be finished no matter what the score is. Unlike ice hockey where if one team scored in the overtime, they automatically win regardless of the time remaining.

Lonesome George (Spanish: Solitario Jorge) is the last known individual of the Pinta Island Tortoise (Geochelone nigra abingdoni) which is one of eleven extant subspecies of Galápagos tortoise, all of which are native to the Galápagos Islands. He has been labeled the rarest creature in the world, and is a potent symbol for conservation efforts in the Galápagos and internationally. It is thought that he was named after a character played by American actor George Gobel.

Known as "land lobsters" or "walking sausages," the six inch long insects had once been common on the neighboring Lord Howe Island, but were assumed to have been eaten into extinction by black rats introduced when a supply ship ran aground in 1918.

The USA loss was a sad end to a great run by a USA team that wasn't really picked to go far in World Cup competition. But the hustling team paced by USA Soccer star Landon Donovan tied England 1-1 to start match play, then tied Slovenia 2-2 in a controversial match that the USA really won 3-2 but for a mistakenly discounted goal by FIFA referee Koman Coulibaly. Finally the USA won a match, beating Algeria 1-0. All that set up today's exciting overtime win.

The golden goal (aka, sudden death) is a method used in association football to decide the winner of games in elimination matches which end in a draw after the end of regulation time. Golden goal rules allow the team that scores the first goal during extra time to be declared the winner. The game finishes when a golden goal is scored.

The first thing to know is that after 90 minutes of play, the length of a soccer match, if both teams are tied up, then the teams will play for two full 15 minute periods. If one team is ahead in the first 15 minutes, then the second 15 minute period may not be necessary.
