Try not to think about the fact she married you immediately after bombing another movie. There's no way that has anything do with anything.

John Waters Work As A Journalist Is Remarkably Proven

Posted: 29 Jun 2010 05:13 AM PDT

As a journalist, magazine editor and columnist, he has specialised in raising unpopular issues of public importance, including the repression of Famine memories and the denial of rights to fathers.

He began part-time work as a journalist in 1981, with Hot Press, Ireland's leading rock 'n' roll magazine and went full-time in 1984, when he moved to Dublin.

Thats showbiz folks. After all, a 29 year old with a scar from a brawl in Paris certainly sounds more exciting than a 24 year old who came off a footpath as a kid. While John was able to revert back to his correct age eventually, one wonders what the results would be if every '40 year old' actress suddenly reverted to her true age. John wasnt the first actor in the world to embelish his age or past, and he certainly wont be the last.

John Samuel Waters (born April 22, 1946) is an American filmmaker, actor, writer, journalist, visual artist and art collector, who rose to fame in the early 1970s for his transgressive cult films. Waters's 1970s and early '80s trash films feature his regular troupe of actors known as Dreamlanders among them Divine, Mink Stole, David Lochary, Mary Vivian Pearce, and Edith Massey. Starting with Desperate Living (1977), Waters began casting real-life convicted criminals (Liz Renay, Patricia Hearst) and infamous people.

Joel Zumaya Cradled His Arm To His Chest

Posted: 29 Jun 2010 05:10 AM PDT

He looked like he could barely walk as he left the field, with his right arm pressed against his stomach for stability. It was too early to tell when, or if, Zumaya would be back. It's clear, though, that it won't be anytime soon. The right-hander missed most of the last two seasons with shoulder problems, but he had reemerged as a top setup man this year with his 100-mph heat.

Zumaya threw a pitch with one out in the eighth inning that Delmon Young fouled off. His right arm hung limp next to his side as he squirmed around the mound for a few seconds before dropping to the grass. His right thumb was shaking while he was being examined by a trainer with concerned teammates gathered around.

Eventually Zumaya was able to walk off the mound with some assistance while he cradled his arm to his chest.

Joel Martin Zumaya (born November 9, 1984) is a Major League Baseball relief pitcher for the Detroit Tigers and known for his record-breaking fastballs.

Elena Kagan Administrative Law Scholars On Top

Posted: 29 Jun 2010 05:09 AM PDT

Ms. Kagan had several advantages from the beginning that made her the most obvious choice. For one, she works for Mr. Obama, who has been impressed with her intelligence and legal capacity, aides said, and she worked for Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. when he was a senator.

Kagan became the Harvard law's dean in 2003 and jumpstarted a transformation that added quality-of-life-activities for the students and included hiring dozens of top-notch professors, including some conservatives. Kagan is one of the country's top constitutional and administrative law scholars. After years of working as a professor.

For another, she is the youngest of the four finalists, meaning she would most likely have the longest tenure as a justice.

She attended Harvard Law School, where she was supervising editor of the Harvard Law Review, and graduated magna cum laude in 1986. Kagan received her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from Princeton in 1981. She attended Worcester College, Oxford, as Princeton's Daniel M. Sachs Graduating Fellow, and received an M. Phil. in 1983.
