Earthquake Los Angeles with 3.6 magnitude hits Santa Monica: USGS

An undersea earthquake with 3.6 magnitude has hit Santa Monica and some jerks were observed in West Los Angeles region at 2:17am, as per U.S Geological Survey (USGS). USGS tells that quake was centralized near about 4 miles west of Redondo Beach with a deepness of 8 miles. USGS confirmed numerous terrible jerks from respondents telling that they observed the quake mainly persons in the communities from oceanfront but some parts from central LA about 20 miles east.

A Santa Monica police orator revealed that he felt a “very brief and mild jolt.” Christopher Knight, a Scottsdale, Ariz., inhabitant while going to Marina del Ray, tells the jerk remained for about a second and “It was very short shift from left to right.” Scientists say that Santa Monica short quakes are frequently observed and are not normally caused any harm.

As per The New York Times "Raajneeti, with its large cast of characters and wealth of subplots, is often a mess, but an interesting one, its review said. The Times too found parallels between Coppola’s Godfather and Jha’s film. There are also parallels to the Gandhi clan (generation Sonia). But Mr. Jha’s real touchstone seems to be The Godfather."

NEW DELHI (DLN), 7th June 2010: NHRC chairperson & K G Balakrishnan (previous Indian Chief Justice) told today that the decision of the 3rd December 1984 tragedy has “come late.” Balakrishnan, who accepted the position as the head of NHRC (National Human Rights Commission) today, told “The verdict on the Bhopal gas tragedy has come late. I can’t comment on the quantum of punishment. Inadequacy of a sentence is a ground for appeal and the aggrieved parties can appeal on the same ground.”

The South Wales Police & Mable (Stuart’s mom) have confirmed the death of Stuart Cable (previous Stereophonics drummer). Stuart Cable (40) was found as dead in the early hours of today in Aberdare home.

Mable revealed “Stuart has traveled all over the world with the band and I have worried myself silly. He is now settled down and then this has happens. It has not sunk in yet.”

As per Paul (Stuart’s brother), who quoted “The family has no further comment to make at this stage. It is in the hands of the police.”

There is no declaration over the reason of the death of Stuart Cable. In the year 2003, he was dismissed from Stereophonics and afterwards the dismissal he started his career in TV & Radio. Stuart became the host of many awards events.

As per the information, around 53 persons have died, involving 3 children swept away while they were going to school from their homes. The domestic flood control office revealed that in midst of 31st May to 2nd June 2010; the death population was arrived at 20 as result of the aftermath of havoc rainfalls. 3 children between the ages of 8 to 11 were not found since 1st June. KARACHI, Pakistan, 7th June (DLN): Storm Cyclone is continuously pouring its ill-effects in a terrible way. The intense winds of Phet hit Oman and terribly destroyed the Sindh Province in Pakistan.  Phet which produced in Arabian Sea resulted in landfall in coastal region of Sindh yesterday and devastated outer boundaries of Karachi. Around 7 persons were electrocuted as per a regional officer. More details are not available concerned to this incident. Karachi & Balochistan fishermen were warned by the Pakistani air services.

As per the sources, tens of thousands persons evacuated the coastal Sindh region due to cyclone Phet. Previously, Pakistani higher authorities forced above 60,000 people to quit the coastal regions. Mohammad Riaz (Pakistan’s main meteorologist) told that Phet could turn up towards east India. He too revealed that Pakistan hospitals were instructed to be on high alert with having the regular supply of necessary medicines, power and communication.

BHOPAL (DLN), 7th June 2010: Mohan Tiwari, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) today will pronounce the Bhopal Gas Tragedy verdict, in which thousands of persons were died. In the hearing sessions, around 178 prosecutions witnesses were tested, 3008 legal papers & 8 witnesses were too produced in the Court for this most terrible industrial incident. Out of 9 victims, R B Roy Choudhary (UCIL previous Assistant Works Manager) died during the examination period. The left alive victims in the Bhopal Gas Tragedy are Keshub Mahendra, Vijay Gokhle, Kishore Kamdar, J Mukund, S P Choudhary, K V Shetty & S I Quershi.

On 3rd December 1984, under this most horrible Bhopal Gas Tragedy, around 40 metric tonnes of poisonous methyl isocyanate gas leaked into the environment and was prevailed by air in the nearby slums. As per Indian Government, near about 3500 persons were died in this great tragedy. But, as per Rights workers, the numbers of deaths were arrived at 25000. Today, Mohan Tiwari (CJM) will announce the decision on Bhopal Gas Tragedy today. We hope appropriate justice for the dead & suffered persons.
