Amit Shah arrested on Sunday for the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case

Sohrabuddin Shiekh’s fake Encounter case suspect, Amit Shah, former Gujarat minister, was arrested by the CBI on Sunday after he came to the Probe Agency’s office.

The BJP member reached the agency’s office yesterday with other BJP state office-bearers. Shah dramatised every word he spoke to the media about at the BJP state headquarters in Ahmedabad.

This happened after he went evasive with the CBI summons on Tuesday in the case.

“The CBI officials told Shah that they will take him straight to the court to which he agreed,” BJP leader Vijay Rupani. Vijay had accompanied Shah at the The Probe agency was waiting for him after he left in his car at the CBI office.

Shah was taken in a car by the Probe Agency from the CBI office to the Judicial Magistrate, A Y Dave’s house. In the car, sat the agency along with IGP Kandaswamy. Amit was taken to the residence instead of the court because the court was closed on Sunday, tells CBI.

Rains Hit Coastal Maharashtra: 2 Dead, Trains Cancelled

2 people were killed and the Konkan railway was badly hit as torrential rains destabilised coastal region of Maharashtra on Sunday. According to officials, the rains have had a huge toll on the lives of people and the traffic and transport have been brought to a standstill.

Deputy Collector Makarand Deshmukh reported that 2 people were apparently washed in the flood due to the incessant rains in Ratnagiri district and a search party has been employed to retrieve their bodies.

The transportation woes were no less as numerous trains were cancelled as soil blocked the tracks leading to evacuation of passengers from 1 train. As reported by a Konkan railway spokesperson over 400 passengers had to be shifted to another train in Ratnagiri district.

The train was unable to proceed as huge mounds of soil had accumulated on the tracks owing to soil erosion. The passengers had to be transferred via 40 buses to nearby Adavli station from where they boarded a different train.

Due to the unpredented damage caused by the heavy rains, 2 such incidents have occurred during the last 2 days in Nivsar village. The region has been subjected to 500mm of rains which rendered any work to restore the tracks to normality, completely useless. To add to the troubles, a part of the roadside caved -in in Nivsar station on Saturday.

The train running Ratnagiri and Diva stations had to be cancelled on Sunday owing to the prevailing circumstances. Along with it the Madgaon-Sawantwadi passenger train,  Janshatabdi Express and Mumbai LTT to Mangalore running Matsyagandha Express met the same fate while the Netravati Express was diverted through Panvel to Mumbai.

The rains have been lashing the western and coastal districts of Maharashtra since 7 days and there seems to be no sign of any let-up. The rivers in the Konkan Region including Savitri, Vashishth, Jagbudi and Sorad have been flowing above the danger mark which may endanger the villages downstream.

This day has great importance for both children and parents because on this day whereas parents have all the rights to do no anything for their happiness and at the same time it gives the opportunity to the children to express their profound love for their esteemed parents that they have in their heart for them. History of Parents Day:

In the year 1994 former American president Mr. Bill Clinton signed into a law. It was fully supported by the Us Congress. As per this law it became sure that every year on 4th Sunday of July a parents day will be observed in America. It was done in order to make the children realize the indispensability of their parents in their life. Moreover, also to make sure parents get respect that they deserve because they sacrifice their own wishes in order to foster their pampered children.

Purpose:

Since then Parents Day got recognition all over the world due to its purpose of making children realize the importance of their parents. Moreover, in this modern ear modern parents are forgetting the importance of fostering their children at their own so this parents day is also a way to make parents realize the importance of leading a successful parental life so that they can achieve every happiness given to them by the God.

Parents day is neither only for making children realize importance of their parents in their lives nor only for educating parents to enjoy the happiness of given by God rather it is also for teaching the growing generation that being parents is not about nurturing children. It also demands unconditional love and whole hearted commitment towards the children. But this also gets implemented on children as well.

So hopefully today we all children and parents will assimilate the importance of the Parents Day in our lives. So that this Parents Day 2010 can metamorphosis our us because in modern ear we all have become self-centered and money minded people. We have also forgotten that if the duty of the parents is to lend their finger for learning the art of walking when we are not capable of walking at our own so at the same time when the same parents enter their old age and become feeble so then it becomes our duty to lend them our hand so that they can walk when they are not able to do so at their own.

So I hope this Parents Day 2010 will serve this purpose of making both parents and children realize their duties towards each other.

The upcoming movie And Once Again, which stars Antra Mali, has an off beat tone to it. But now-a-days even the Off ‘Beatest’ off beat movies are just run of the mill stories, told in a different country! So can And Once Again beat that mould? We let you decide.

The movie which is mostly filmed in East India, has Manu and Rishi on a vacation. Rishi was earlier married but his wife had died.

But while roaming around in the hills one day, he sees his dead wife, Savitri, as a monk. Savitri and Rishi were married and had a son, but he lost both his wife and son in a violent attack in Yugoslavia.

It was while undergoing therapy for this trauma that he met his current wife as his Psychiatrist’s daughter. But now with this new woman in the picture how will their marriage be affected.

Is this new woman really Savitri? These are questions for whose answers you will have to wait till the movie releases.

Priety Zinta, Ness Wadia In Legal Trouble

In a shocking case, arrest warrants were taken out against Priety Zinta, Ness Wadia and Mohit Burman. All three are co-owners of the IPL team, Kings XI Punjab which has been faring badly in IPL. This happened due to their not being present at a hearing, of a case filed against them.

This case was filed by the Registrar Of Companies for the owners not presenting their balance sheets and returns. The case was lodged against the 4 owners but out of these only one was present before the court, hence no warrant was issued against Karan Paul. The warrants issued though are luckily for them, bailable.

The next hearing of the court is scheduled on Oct 4. Priety Zinta who is a famous Bollywood actress is generally not related to controversy much. Her estranged beaus and businessman Ness Wadia too is tangled up in this mess.
