Bhagat Singh was born to Kishan Singh and Vidya Vati at Banga in the Lyallpur district of the West Punjab in 1907 (exact date of birth is not known).

Kishan Singh was the eldest of the three sons of Arjan Singh and Jai Kaur, the two others being Ajit Singh and Swaran Singh . The former had been deported to Mandalay along with Lala Lajpat Rai under the infamous Regulation III of 1818 on the charge of seditious activities caused by the iniquitous Colonisation Bill of 1908.

The Chennai Super Kings beat South Africa's Eastern Cape Warriors by eight wickets to win the Champions League Twenty20 final in Johannesburg.

India's Chennai Super Kings win Airtel Champions League final

T20 Final between Chennai super Kings Vs Chevrolet Warriors (CSK Vs WAR), they faced off on Sunday night at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Chennai became the first team who won IPL crown as well as Champion League crown. They beat Warrior by eight wickets in the final and got USD 2.5 million as prize money.

Murali Vijay clinched Golden Bat awards for scoring highest run in the tournament
He scored 294 runs in 6 matches with an average of 49 runs. And Spinner Ashwin bagged golden ball reward for most victorious bowler in the tournament.
