Samsung unveils Ch@t 322: a dual SIM, QWERTY phone Posted: 21 Oct 2010 01:20 AM PDT Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of its latest dual SIM mobile phone as Samsung Ch@t 322. Samsung Ch@t 322 is a DUAL Samsung Ch@t 322 features 1.3 mega pixel camera with 1280 x 1024 pixels of resolution along with 3.5mm audio port, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, music player, MicroSD card slot, optical trackpad, USB 2.0 . The handset also supports features such as DUOS UX interface and access to Facebook, Twitter, MSN, Yahoo! and Google Talk. Samsung Ch@at 322 is available in black, white, and pink colors. Samsung plans to launch this Samsung Ch@t 322 phone in Russia on November 2010. Micromax Launches ‘Lightest Touch Phone’ – Modu T 3.G Posted: 21 Oct 2010 12:48 AM PDT Micromax has engaged with Israel-based modu ltd. to bring modu T, a 3.5G touch phone that was awarded the Guinness World Record for being the lightest touch phone in the world. Adding, the Modu T has a 2.2-inch touch screen and a memory card with 2GB memory capacity that can be extended up to 32GB. The phone is featured with web access, Instant Messaging, direct links to different social networks, a built in FM radio, GPS, music player. A wide variety of applications such as YouTube, Google Search, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, TuneWiki, eBuddy, Snaptu & operates on Qualcomm’s Brew operating system is available with the phone. Further, the phone has two jackets that when connected, add new features to the phone. The “camerafy” jacket converts the phone into a camera with a 5 megapixel resolution and LED flash Micromax said it is working with modu to bring in more fy devices in the near future to make the phone multi functional. In India, the modu T phone will be available from October 22. Vodafone to start 3G services by January/February 2011 Posted: 21 Oct 2010 12:41 AM PDT Good news for Vodafone customers. Vodafone India, which has bagged 3G rights for 9 circles across the country, has announced that it will start rolling out its 3G services by January or February 2011. Vodafone 3G services will be initially launched in Delhi & Mumbai circles and will be extended to other circles later on. Vodafone claims that with 3G they have attained a theoretical speed of 21 Mbps. As you read it here, Vodafone has already partnered with Nokia Siemens, Ericsson for 3G roll out As for as other mobile service providers are concerned, Tata DoCoMo is all set to launch the service on November 8th and Airtel and Rcom is planning for a launch in Mid-November. Another leading service provider, Aircel plans to launch the service by Q1 of 2011. India is finally getting ready for 3G experience. |
