D Ed second year examination results announced

The results of the second year Diploma in Education (D Ed) examination, was announced by the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) on 29th January 2011. Candidates who are looking for their respective results can login to the official website of the MSCE msce.mah.nic.in.

A direct link to check the results is also available http://msce.mah.nic.in/dedresultSept.htm. The second year examination of D Ed was conducted in September 2010. The MSCE, being an autonomous body has the responsibility to conduct various examinations of the School Education Department.

The council organizes examinations ranging from primary to professional stages. It conducts scholarship examinations as well as professional examinations like D Ed and GCC.

The Council also conducts departmental examinations for the employees of higher education, school education and cultural department. MSCE is based in Pune and is governed by the Government of Maharashtra. It aims to search talent from the primary, secondary and professional levels by fair and transparent means of examination.

The south Indian film sensation and the evergreen Rajinikanth, is all set to set the box office on fire, with his new Tamil film 'Raana'. This time, the Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, will be seen romancing with Rajini.

After a long time the combination of the superstar Rajini, director K S Ravikumar and music composer A R Rehman has been brought back for the movie.Years back, the same combination was brought for the movie 'Muthu' and 'Padaiyappa' which did a phenomenal business at the box office.

Rajini is known for his majestic presence and the flavor of humor that, he brings in his films. The movie 'Raana' would be produced by the filmstar's wife Lata Rajinikanth. Cinematographer Rathnavelu, who had also worked in the Tamil block buster 'Enthiran', is being approached for 'Raana'.

Director Ravikumar and Rajini have been known for their hit films that, they have come up in the past. The duo is trying their best to come up for another entertainer for the audience.

‘No TV Day’ observed by Mumbaikars on 29th Jan

Television has become a part of every one's life. One can hardly imagine a day without watching television. But Hindustan Times has initiated a campaign, and has appealed to the population of Mumbai, India, to switch off their television sets on 29th January.

Shantanu Bhanja, the marketing head of Hindustan Times, while talking about the campaign said, “All around the country, people are spending an inordinate amount of time watching television. One often hears people saying ‘I don’t know how my weekend went, I didn’t do anything’." He also added that, there are many more things that one can do, rather than sitting useless in front of the idiot box.

The campaign has appealed to switch off the television and to get out on the streets of Mumbai with family and friends and have fun. Bhanja, while talking about the reason to choose Mumbai for the campaign, said that the city has the potential to spread the word to the other parts of the country.

Moreover the people in the city do not spend much time with the city and are busy with their own lives. So this is an opportunity for the Mumbaikars to connect with the glamour of the city.

Akshay kumar’s encounter with crocodiles

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, while shooting for an advertisement in Malaysia, escaped an attack of crocodiles. Akshay being fond of stunts, likes to perform his own stunts and never uses a body double.

Akshay being an endorser for a cola company, advised them to shoot with crocodiles and rafts on a waterfall. As per plan, Akshay plunged in to the river and came down the water fall. Initially the crocodiles were at a safe distance, but suddenly a crocodile got wild and rushed towards the actor.

The actor in the situation used his common sense and immediately jumped on the raft and rowed himself to safety. Moreover some great shots were captured by the camera during the shoot and that, he did not had to re shoot the sequence.

Before this incident, the actor also had an encounter with sharks, while shooting for the movie Blue. According to sources, Akshay is the longest endorser for the cola company, as he is going to complete 12 years of endorsement.
