The 56th Filmfare awards ceremony was held at the Yash Raj Films Studios, in Mumbai on Saturday, January 29, 2011. The event was hosted by bollywoods young heartthrobs Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan with some of the biggest names from Bollywood appearing all under one roof. Shahrukh Khan’s My Name Is Khan and Salman Khan's Dabangg were the two films which got a lot of attention. Singer Sonu Nigam began the awards ceremony by performing 'My Heart Will Go On' from the movie Titanic live on stage. Click here to see the winners list. The Best Film category was won bySalman Khan’s latest Blockbuster Dabangg. Arbaaz Khan and his wife Malaika collected the award. Farah Khan won the Best Choreography award and dedicated the award to her triplets saying: "Today was their sports day.”       |
