The results of the BE 5th semester backlog examination, have been declared by the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, on 5th February 2011. The University has notified the results of the November-December 2010 examinations at the official website at http://csvtu.ac.in/resultsNov_Dec_2010.htm.

The last date for submitting applications for re-totalling is 7th February 2011. Interested candidates are requested to submit their applications on or before the last date and that no applications will be entertained after 7th February. The CSVTU is a public university, which is situated in the city of Bhilai in the state of Chhattisgarh, India.

Established in the year 2005, the university aims in ensuring systematic, qualitative and efficient education in the field of engineering, technology, architecture and pharmacy. The university offers research programs, degree and diploma courses.

The CSVTU is owned by the state government and is divided in to seven sections namely applied sciences & humanity, engineering and technology, management & entrepreneurship, pharmacy, architecture, humanities and ecology and environment.

In some good news for the drivers in the capital city of New Delhi, India, the application for the driver's license can be easily done online. Applicants can approach any of the zonal offices to apply for a license.

All the zonal offices have been linked so that the applicants can approach any office nearer to their work place, or according to their convenience. Appointments can be taken online or on phone according to the applicant's convenience. So no more standing in long queues.

The new system was inaugurated on Friday by Chief minister Sheila Dikshit and transport minister Arvinder Singh Lovely. Transport officials can now handle the problem of agents who used to charge exorbitant commissions from the applicants outside the offices. "People approached touts to get their work done without standing in queues. Now the system has been streamlined, anyone with valid documents can go and get a license easily," a senior transport official said.

According to the officials, the new system will help to reduce the work load, as the work will be divided among all the zonal offices.

The November results of the Integrated Professional Competence Exam (IPCC) will be declared on 8th February 2011, by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The dates of the results have been postponed from 5th February to 8th February 2011 due to unknown reasons.

The ICAI will declare the results of Integrated Professional Competence/Accounting Technician Examination and the Professional Competence Examination, held in November 2010. Candidates looking for their results can download from the results website http://caresults.nic.in/

Students can also receive their respective results in their email box by registering themselves at http://caresults.nic.in/.

After AICPA, ICAI is the second largest accounting body.

The institute works with Reserve Bank of India, Government of India and the Securities and Exchange board of India to issue applicable accounting, auditing and assurance standards in India. The ICAI is a professional body, which is established under the Chartered Accountants Act 1949. The body was established to regulate the profession of Chartered Accountancy in the country.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first in the sixth ODI against New Zealand being played today in Auckland.

Batting first New Zealand scored a mammoth 311 runs for the loss of seven wickets in its allotted 50 overs.

Ryder scored a century with 107 runs in just 93 runs, he clubbed Six sixes and 7 boundaries. Mccullum scored 65 runs while Styris scored a meaty 58 runs to stear NEw Zealand to a safe score.

This is the sixth ODI, PAkistan has already won the series and will look to win this won as well. Since this is a day game chasing 312 runs is not impossible for the batting line up of Pakistan.

LONDON (Reuters) – Pakistan Cricketers charged by the British prosecutors on Friday with taking bribes for spot-fixing in an international match in England last year.

Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir are accused of fixing certain incidents in advanced, Like bowling of no-balls at pre-decided times, in the fourth test at Lord’s last August.

Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service said the trio, along with a sporting agent Mazhar Majeed, had been charged with conspiracy to obtain and accept corrupt payments and with conspiracy to cheat.

“These charges says that Mr Majeed accepted money from a third party to arrange for the players to bowl `no balls’ on 26 and 27 August 2010, during Pakistan’s Fourth Test at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London,” said Simon Clements, head of the CPS Special Crime Division.

He said Majeed had been ordered to appear at London’s City of Westminster Magistrates Court on March 17. “Summonses for the same court date have been issued for the three players and they have been asked to return to this country voluntarily,” Clements said.

“Their extradition will be sought should they fail to return,” he added.

Transport Department Delhi takes 500 Blueline buses off the roads

The Transport Department officials in Delhi, India, ordered to take off 500 out of 840 Blueline buses from the roads from 1st February onwards. Some 28 private buses were also seized by the officials for running them without a permit.

The rest of the 328 buses will continue to run in the capital, since the Delhi High court allowed only those buses to run which have permits.

"Over 500 blueline buses whose permits ended yesterday went off roads today. Only 328 buses who have permits are plying,” a Transport Department official said.

He also added that permits of the 223 buses out of the 328 buses will expire in April 2012, while the permits of the rest of the buses will expire this year. According to sources, 31st January 2011 was the last day for the Blueline buses in the city.

Later, the bus owners approached the High Court and asked for a stay. This was when the court permitted only those buses which had permits to continue to run on Delhi roads.

Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre was caught pantyless at Karan Johar’s party in Mumbai.

Karan Johar hosted a grand party to celebrate the many awards his movie My name is Khan won at the Filmfaire awards 2011 last week.

Sonali arrived to the party along with Aishwarya Rai wereing a black mini dress. While she was still in the car sitting alongside Aishwarya photographers took pictures and videos of her panty less. See the photo gallery.

The act didn’t look like as if it was a publicity stunt, With Aishwarya Rai besides her by the look of it Sonali never looked like she knew what’s happening.

Indian headlines Examiner reports, “Sonali Bendre was least bothered about it and smiled to the photograpers, who captured her photos and she was reportedly yelling out "I am happy because u saw it", when Aishwarya Rai, who was sitting besides her text messaging, asked her stop doing this nonsense, got down and went inside.”
