The fifth game of the cricket World Cup will be played between England and Netherlands at the VCA Ground in Nagpur. The day/night game will begin at 2:30 pm India time, 09:00 GMT.

However, Netherlands will look to provide some really excellent show after the other minnows seemed to be going down in a hurry.

For starters, they will want their captain Peter Borren to get fit enough for the game but if he does not Bas Zuiderent will lead the team.

Kasab’s death penalty upheld by Bombay High Court

In a disappointment for the terrorist Ajmal Kasab, The Bombay High Court on Monday confirmed that the death penalty would be upheld for the terrorist. The court termed the case as the 'rarest of the rare' case, where the convict has no scope for rehabilitation.

“There is no scope of reform or rehabilitation of the convicted accused. It is a rarest of rare case and the court cannot be more confident than it is today that death penalty must be given," Justices Ranjana Desai and RV More said. Kasab had appeared in a white 'kurta' through video conferencing, where he was told by the court that he still has the option of filing an appeal in the Supreme Court.

Kasab was convicted with multiple murder charges, which included conspiracy and waging war against the nation. Justice Desai also added that, Kasab had always maintained an angry look during the court proceedings and that he did not seem to have any regrets for all that he had done.

Malaysia Vasudevan passes away in Chennai

Legendary singer and actor Malaysia Vasudevan died in a private hospital in Chennai on 20th February. Vasudevan was born in Malaysia to Malayalee parents.

The singer later came to Chennai, to pursue a career in singing and acting. Vasudevan has sung about 12,000 songs in south Indian languages in films and has also acted in 85 films.

“Vasu sir was a legendary singer and a wonderfully warm person. "Will always remember him for his unmitigated positive energy.” singer Suchitra tweeted. Vasudevan had proved himself to be a versatile singer as he managed folk, classical and mass songs.

The singer has also rendered his voice for the great south Indian actor Rajinikanth. The songs which became popular were 'Podhuvaga Enmanasu Thangam' from the movie 'Murattu Kalai', 'Yejaman Kaladi Manneduthu' from the movie 'Yejaman' and 'Ennama Kannu Sowkiyama' from the movie 'Mr. Bharat'. Vasudevan's daughter Prashanthini is also following the foot steps of her father and is in the making of a singing star.
