The results of the Rajasthan Constable Recruitments for the year 2010-2011, have been declared today on 16th February 2011. Candidates can access the results from the official website of Rajasthan police at

The written examination of the Rajasthan Police recruitments was held on 23rd of January 2011. The Rajasthan police was formed in the year 1951. Officers from all over the state of Rajasthan, India were appointed.

The headquarters of the Rajasthan police is based in the state capital Jaipur. The law enforcement agency is known for dealing with the criminal gangs, dacoits in the Chambal ravines, spies and narco-terrorists.

The Director General of Police heads the Rajasthan Police. The state is divided in to eight zones, which is each headed by an Inspector General of Police. The Rajasthan Police force consists of 3366 constables, 889 inspectors, 3902 assistant sub inspectors, 8867 head constables, and 5283 constables. The aim of the force is “Sevarth Katibaddhta”, which means, 'committed to serve'.

Kuvempu University postgraduate and undergraduate results announced

The results of the Undergraduate and Postgraduate examinations for the year 2010 and 2011, have been declared by the Kuvempu University. Candidates can access the results from the official website of the University at www.kuvempu.ac.in.

Candidates have to enter their respective roll numbers in the box at the results section of the website to access their results. The Kuvempu University is a public university established in the year 1987.

In the year 1994, the university was established by the UGC. The University is the member of the Association of Indian Universities and is situated at Shimoga in the state of Karnataka in India.

The head quarters of the university is situated at the Jnana Sahyadri Campus in Shimoga. The campus is spread in 230 acres of land. A very renowned fact of this educational institution is that it was named after a famous Kannada poet in the state named Kuvempu. Kuvempu University has 59 Post Graduate programs in the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, Education and Law.

India will play New Zealand in its second warm-up game before the World Cup 2011 begins . The match will be played at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday, Feb 15, 2011.

Mughal Gardens open for visitors for a month

The Mughal Gardens in New Delhi, India, will remain open for a month from 15th February to 16th of March 2011. The garden has been opened as a part of the annual 'Rashtrapati Bhavan Udaynotsav'.

Visitors in the garden will get to see the vertical and 'Bonsai' gardening style. Apart from the Mughal, Musical, Spiritual, Herbal Garden and Biodiversity Park, the visitors will also be informed about the 'Roshni Programme', an initiative based on environment by the president.

The garden will be open for the visitors from 10am to 4pm and will remain closed on Mondays for maintenance. The garden features beautiful flowers like roses, tulips and also cactus plants.

The 'Self Help Group' has put up a stall at the garden which will sell Vermi and organic compost. Visitors can also buy souvenirs from a curio stall in the garden. The Mughal Gardens is divided in three parts – the Long Garden, the Rectangular garden and the Circular garden.
