Sri Lanka will take on Kenya in the 14th game of the World Cup 2011 to be played on March 1, 2011. The game is a day-night match and will see the sides battle it out at the R Premadasa in Colombo. Watch Live score.

Sri Lanka go into the game after having won their first match against Canada but having lost to Pakistan in the second match. On the other hand, Kenya have been so miserable in the field that they have lost both their games – and by humongous margins. Watch Live Streaming.

A.R Rahman misses the Oscars for ‘If I Rise’

Indian music maestro A R Rahman wasn't lucky enough at this year's Academy Awards in Los Angeles. Rahman missed the award for the best song on Sunday night.

The two time Oscar winner had also performed the song 'If I Rise' at the event at Kodak Theatre. The other nominees for the award –  Mandy Moore's and Zachary Levi's 'I See The Light', Gwyneth Paltrow's 'Coming Home' and Randy Newman's 'We Belong Together'-  had also performed at the event.

The team of Danny Boyle and Rahman did wonders for the movie 'Slumdog Millionaire', which gained popularity all over the world. The movie made the music director earn numerous awards, including Oscars, Golden Globe and Grammys.

Danny and Rahman this time worked on critically acclaimed film '127 Hours' starring James Franco. Rahman for the song 'If I Rise' had teamed up with the British lyricist Dido. Bollywood couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were present at the event to support Rahman.

National Science Day observed in Bengaluru

The 27th of February was observed in Bengaluru in the state of Karnataka, India as National Science Day . The Day is observed to celebrate the day when the great scientist Sir CV Raman was conferred the Nobel Prize for his discovery of Raman effect.

Exhibitions, demonstrations and special lectures for people interested in science, were organized across the city to observe the National Science Day. An exhibition of telescopes was also organized by the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium between 10 am and 5 am.

Members of the Association of Bangalore Amateur Astronomers were available to enlighten and explain the telescopes displayed in the exhibition. Students and public were invited by the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants to visit the farms and laboratories of the institute in the morning hours.

Programs were also organized by Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum and the Institution of Engineers to observe the National Science Day.

RTMNU BE winter 2010 results announced

The results of the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) 3rd semester winter for the year 2010 have been declared by the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University in Nagpur. Candidates can access their results from the official website at http://www.nagpuruniversity.org/.

Nagpur University is one of the prominent universities in Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra, India. The RTMNU was established in the year 1923 and was named after the saint Tukdoji Maharaj.

The university is also known as Nagpur University and promotes the teachings of the Indian languages like, Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit and Urdu. In the year 1983, the university was divided when some of its facilities were re-directed to the University of Amravati in Maharashtra.

The RTMNU started providing medical courses from the year 1947 and since then it has been known for its quality medical education. The university has been accredited with 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is now known as one of the toughest universities in Maharashtra for its strict assessment.
