Toyota announces to launch Etios Liva on 27th June, Corolla Altis launched

Automobile manufacturer, Toyota on Thursday launched two luxury sedans Corolla Altis for the Indian market. The Corola Altis will be offering petrol as well as diesel variants for the consumers. Along with the sedan, the company also announced that it would be launching its hatchback Etios Liva on 27th June 2011.

Sandeep Singh, the deputy managing director of marketing of Toyota Kirloskar Motor has assured that the new Corolla Altis will be offering the latest technology and design. The new sedan has been priced between Rs. 1,146,500 and Rs. 1,455,000 for the diesel variant, while the petrol variant will cost between, Rs. 1,053,300 and Rs. 1,477,400.

The company has said that the petrol version of the sedan has been modified with an even more powerful engine, that will come with a choice of new seven speed sequential 'shiftmatic' (automatic) transmission or a six speed manual transmission system.

Moreover, the petrol version will be powered with 2ZR Dual VVT-I engine of 1,798 cc, with an output of 140 ps at 6,400 rpm. Apart from the technical improvements, the interiors have also been added like the remote boot opener, perforated leather seats and DVD touch screen audio with Bluetooth. Since the launch of the car, the company has sold nearly 70,000 units.

After a long wait, the results of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) have announced the declaration of the SSC results to be made soon. The MSBSHSE has said that the official results will be announced today on 17th June 2011 at 1 pm.

The SSC results across the eight boards of the state will be announced today. After the declaration of results the students can check the results at the official website here. The board has also provided some official numbers, to known the results.

The students have to send a short message on the numbers , 573335000, 57766 to know their results. Students who belong to the Mumbai circle can send the message to 08800654242.

However, the students will receive their mark sheets only on 27th June 2011. After they receive the mark sheets, the students will be eligible to apply for revaluation. The last date to apply for revaluation is 7th July 2011.
