UGC NET results December 2010 likely to be declared on 13th June

The results of the National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by the UGC are likely to be announced today on 13th June 2011. The examinations were held in December 2010. Till now no official conformation has been given by the UGC regarding the results.

After the results have been declared, the candidates can check their results at http://www.ugcnetonline.in. Earlier, the results were supposed to be declared in the month of April 2011.

Later the UGC was pressurized by the Students Islamic Organization of India to announce the results. Later the UGC had assured that the results would be declared as soon as possible.

The National Eligibility Test is formally conducted twice a year by the UGC, which gives the basic eligibility criteria for the post of lecturers. The test also determines the award for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Hence any delay in the declaration of the results must be communicated to the candidates or else the whole purpose of conducting the test is defeated.

MHT-CET 2011 results likely to be announced on 14th June

The results of the Maharashtra Health and Technology Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) for the year 2011 are likely to be declared on 14th June 2011. According to the directorate of medical education and research, the final merit list will be announced on 25th June 2011.

The form filling and the central admission process for medical as well as engineering admissions are likely to start from the last week of June or the 1st Week of July 2011. Tough competition is expected for the admissions in to the medical seats.

On the contrary, many of the engineering seats are expected to be vacant this year, due to the excessive number of engineering colleges. Last year more than 22,000 seats had gone vacant. However, many of the engineering colleges are waiting for the AICTE approval for the commencement of the academic session.

After the results have been published, the students can view their results at http://www.dmer.org/vol.htm. More than 7,000 medical seats, 1,00,000 engineering seats and 9,000 pharmacy seats are to be absorbed through the MHT-CET for the year 2011.

Delhi University CATE 2011 results likely to be announced today

The results of the Delhi University's Common Aptitude Test for English (CATE) are expected to be released on 13th June 2011. More than 10,000 undergraduate aspirants had appeared for the entrance test and are waiting for the results. After the results have been published, the candidates can access their results from http://www.du.ac.in.

This year the response among the students for the examination was impressive as many students along with their parents were eager and anxious. The examination was conducted by 21 colleges for the admissions in to English Honors through the entrance test.

Along with the CATE, the joint entrance test was also conducted for the admissions in to the Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis (BFIA), Bachelor of Business Science (BBS) and Bachelor of Business Economics.

This year Six more colleges had joined the list to conduct the entrance examination, which included, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and Lady Shri Ram College. More than 15,000 students had appeared for the joint entrance test, which was conducted across the centres in Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata and Lucknow.
