Zaheer Khan injured, ruled out of 3rd Test against England Posted: 06 Aug 2011 11:16 PM PDT Zaheer Khan has been ruled out of the third Test against England at Edgbaston and possibly the series too. Zaheer Khan was include in the two-day game and bowled only three overs in the game against Northants before leaving the field. He did not return to bowl afterwards. Zaheer Khan had suffered a hamstring injury during the second day of the 1st Test at Lord’s and since then the Indian pacer has been out of action. His replacement is likely to be announced on Sunday by the BCCI. Already Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh have returned to India due to injuries. Virender Sehwag was injured and was not inluded in the first two Test. He has now returned and will play the remaining two Test and ODI series.
