In some good news for all the investors in gold, the price of the yellow metal has reached to a new high of Rs. 24,000 per 10 gms. While the international pricing for the metal, had neared $1,700 per ounce mark, on Wednesday.

This may be a good news for those who have invested in gold but might not be a good news for those who want to buy gold jewellery. In the last one year the price of gold in India has risen by 34% and is slowly approaching towards the bad phase of the global economy.

It has also increased the inflationary pressure and also the weaknesses of the US dollar against the major international currencies like Swiss Franc and Japanese Yen. However, the price of gold is often considered safe even during the economic imbalance.

Currently, there is no signs of the immediate revival of some of the leading economies of like the US, Europe and Japan market.
