| Hyderabad Sun Risers squad for IPL 2013 : Team Overview Posted: 20 Mar 2013 05:48 AM PDT The newly formed Hyderabad team called as the Hyderabad Sun Risers will be playing their debut season at the IPL 2013. The franchisee was bought by Sun TV network and they have selected the new team and the name for IPL season 6. The Hyderabad Sun Risers will be replacing team Deccan Chargers as they had some disputes with BCCI over some financial matters. The stake involved Sun TV purchased the team for 5 years deal and that will be priced at Rs 425.2 crores. In the year 2008, Deccan Chargers was purchased for the amount of US $107 million (i.e. around Rs 428 crorers for a span of 10 years). Team coach and ambassadors Tom Moody, the all rounder and Sri Lankan coach will be the coach of Hyderabad Sun Risers as well in IPL 6. International players The squad will play the home match at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. This will indeed be their first match in the IPL 2013. The international players that have been chosen for the team include Cameron White, Rusty Theron, JP Duminy, Dale Steyn, Kumar Sangakkara and Chris Lynn. It is expected that Sangakkara will be leading the team during the debut on this IPL 2013 platform. Overall team The squad looks nicely balanced with some all rounders and amazing pacers and bowlers. So, it will be really interesting to watch how the Hyderabad Sun Risers performs in the IPL 6 matches. Ishant Sharma, the finest fast bowlers of the Indian team is also a part of the Hyderabad squad and will serve as an important player in the team.
