Manvinder Bisla who turned out to be a crucial name against Chennai in the last IPL season is no where even close to his performance as the last time. Non functional Jacques Kallis along with captain Gautam Gambhir is not providing any boost to the batting order however the mystery over the inclusion of the most hefty and expensive name, Brendon McCullum remains as such. With 4 defeats at their hands already team is in real trouble. Sunil Narine and Sachitra Senanayake are as usual with their play. In the bowling front only Brett Lee is a name of relief for the team. Eoin Morgan is however still the most crucial player for the team. Mumbai Indians Mumbai Indians is the team with the best names of the international cricket on their side but with their last couple of defeats is going to hammer their morale a lot. In their first defeat they got to witness a smashing 87 runs loss against Rajasthan Royals which is said to be a well balanced team. In their second defeat it was almost unbelievable that the low lying Daredevils made them to fall apart with their innings. Captain Ricky Ponting needs to frame a really decisive strategy this time to make a comeback in the IPL season. Also master blaster Sachin Tendulkar needs to play some of his best shots to clinch the silver ware this season. Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik are as usual proving to be an asset on the pitch and team can rely on them for a batting boost. However concerns are there for the team as a whole. In bowling section Mitchell Johnson along with Malinga remains doubtful with their performances. Also bowler JJ Bumrah can be seen playing in Mumbai once again.
