Amy Mickelson Diamond Ring Tour schedule

Indeed, Mrs. Mickelson is the owner of a truly impressive wedding ring, the kind you normally see on the Jennifer Lopezes and Candy Spellings of the world. We aren't experts on diamonds by any stretch of the imagination, but we feel confident in speculating that the stone causes massive double takes whenever it's worn.

Such was certainly the case on Sunday, when the TV audience caught a glimpse. Details on the ring are scant, but searches on "amy mickelson ring" and "amy mickelson diamond ring" each soared over 500%. Additionally, general online lookups on "amy mickelson photos" and "amy mickelson age" (she's 37) both roared over 1,000%.

Phil Mickelson has suspended his PGA Tour schedule indefinitely today because Amy... his wife of 13 years and the mother of their three children has been diagnosed with breast cancer. More test and possible major surgery in the forecast over the next few weeks

Quidditch Harry Potter universe I was completely astounded

Quidditch is a fictional sport developed by J. K. Rowling for the Harry Potter book series. It is described as an extremely rough but very popular semi-contact sport played by wizards and witches around the world. Matches are played between two teams of seven players riding flying broomsticks, using four balls and six elevated ring-shaped goals. In the Harry Potter universe, Quidditch holds a fervent following similar to football (soccer) as a globally popular sport.

Quidditch pitches are typically in the shape of an oval, five-hundred feet long and one-hundred eighty feet wide, with a small central circle of approximately two feet in diameter. At each end there are three hooped goal posts of different heights, surrounded by a scoring area. As Quidditch is an aerial sport, Quidditch pitches usually feature spectator seating at high vantage points, whether in towers (such as at Hogwarts) or in a fully-encircling platform style (such as the British stadium that held the 1994 Quidditch World Cup).

"We got the idea just talking in class one day about a month ago," said Jordan, Quidditch team captain. "Due to the fact that Harry Potter played a big part throughout our generation's childhood, it seemed obvious to form a Quidditch team."

After word got out that a team was forming, 73 students signed on as players, announcers, scorekeepers, and cheerleaders; 225 signed onto the Facebook page that Jordan created.

"I was completely astounded," Bakintas said. "I thought it would just be kids in my class. Then when I saw the list of how many kids signed up and were forming teams, I couldn't believe it."

Conan TBS The Tonight Show o brien

O'Brien's new program will air Mondays through Thursdays at 11 p.m. Eastern, which will shift "Lopez Tonight," starring George Lopez, to midnight. O'Brien's show will originate from Los Angeles, where he moved from New York for his unsuccessful stint hosting "The Tonight Show." And the second half of his show will face off against Jay Leno, who now hosts "Tonight."

Upon TBS' announcement Monday, O'Brien quickly fired out a celebratory tweet.

"The good news: I will be doing a show on TBS starting in November! The bad news: I'll be playing Rudy on the all new Cosby Show," he posted on Twitter.

TBS said that talks with O'Brien accelerated last week after Lopez called O'Brien to ask him to come aboard.

The program will air Mondays through Thursdays at 11 p.m. Eastern, shifting TBS' "Lopez Tonight," starring George Lopez, to midnight.

There's a seemingly ironic ring to the time change for Lopez, who became the first Latino to host a nighttime talk show on a major network when his TBS show debuted last fall. O'Brien rejected NBC's effort to move him to a later slot to make way for Leno. This dispute led to O'Brien's abrupt exit.

Microsoft Kin Windows phone family "simplify"

The bulky design of the phone, which has a slide-out keyboard for easy typing, does not look like it will really inspire making phone calls, which might actually be part of the point. As everyone knows, most teens prefer to text or share messages on Facebook instead of actual calling. Imagine holding the bulky, roundish Kin up to your ear? You can imagine the reaction by those who might try to make a call. "Calling is way 2 lame."

It also doesn't look like Microsoft is creating anything here aimed at inspiring teenagers to new educational heights. At its press conference, they showed the most banal kinds of social networking. A kid on a video during the press briefing said, "I just saw a huge fat man eating a Chipotle. I want to share that with the world."

Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft's entertainment and devices division, described the Kin devices as in the Windows phone family but separate from phones from Microsoft that will appear in the fall with the Windows Phone 7 Series operating system. Bach didn't reveal many details distinguishing the two phones in a Webcast, but said the Kin devices will "amplify" the lives of users, while Windows Phone 7 phones will "simplify" users' lives.

Microsoft's dedicated portal for the yet to be officially announced Kin series of social networking and multimedia focused devices has launched ahead of its official announcement during the Microsoft press event currently underway at the time of this report.

Meet Abby Elliott, the daughter of SNL's Chris Elliott and latest cast member to be added on Saturday Night Live. See her photos, biography and video here. She is one of two hot new women making the show for the Fall season on NBC.

Abby Elliott, who was born on June 16, 1987 in New York City, was welcomed into a family of comedians by birth. As the daughter of SNL alumni Chris Elliott and a granddaughter of Bob Elliott – one of the comedic duo "Bob & Ray" – Abby knew which footsteps she would follow at an early age. By 12 years old, Abby Elliott was already impersonating Angelina Jolie – who by then was still with Billy Bob Thornton – and has participated in middle school plays, such as "The King and I."

Abby had her first experience in comedy when she joined the Upright Citizen's Brigade, a comedy troupe founded by SNL alumni Amy Poehler in New York City. Comedy clearly was in Abby's blood and she excelled in improv theater, performing around the country. When Abby Elliott moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Hollywood, she landed a gig on the famous long-running Mike Judge animation series "King of the Hill," wherein she voiced the character of the "hipster girl." During this time, Abby also joined the L.A. chapter of the Upright Citizen's Brigade and LA's Groundling's Theater, where she worked with current cast SNL cast member Michaela Watkins. Big names in the comedy industry began to take notice of Abby Elliott's comedic chops and various comedic veterans, including Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Kimmel and David Letterman has invited Abby to their shows.

As other site claimed for reports, Mickelson will receive an instant of $1.35 Million at stake for his Master Prize money. Definetely, Mickelson can buy a lot of things with such big sum of money in his hand.

Apparently, it was not a lucky moment for the controversial golfer, Tiger Woods as he failed the competition and finished only fourth after the 4 rounds of the said tournament. There was no official announcement of how much the runner ups received for their Master purse.

Kitty Kelley will mess with Oprah’s mind

Kitty Kelley (born April 4, 1942) is an American investigative journalist and author of several best-selling unauthorized biographies of celebrities and politicians. Described as a "poison pen" biographer, her profiles frequently contain unflattering personal anecdotes and details, and their accuracy is often questioned. Though many of her books have topped the best sellers list, Kelley's credibility and sources have been called into question multiple times.

Oprah keeps her crown. Kelley reveals little in 445 pages. But she does have one bit of pertinent info that will mess with Oprah's mind. Kelley claims to know who Oprah's biological father is while the talk show diva doesn't.

Oprah's elderly cousin, the irascible Katharine Carr Esters, tells the author who the daddy is, but then swears her to secrecy until the time when Oprah's mother, Vernita Lee, chooses to inform her daughter.

In preparation for Tuesday's release of "Oprah," the L.A. Times looked back at the way her previous books have been received. Ronald Reagan said of her take on wife Nancy: "While I am accustomed to reports that stray from the truth, the flagrant and absurd falsehoods ... clearly exceed the bounds of decency." And her book on Frank Sinatra led daughter Nancy to say, "I hope she gets hit by a truck."

Yet I've never felt completely comfortable with the term unauthorized, probably because it sounds slightly nefarious, almost as if it involves breaking and entering. Admittedly, biography is, by its very nature, an invasion of a life — an intimate examination by the biographer, who tries to burrow into the marrow of the bone to probe the unknown and reveal the unseen. Despite my discomfort with the term, I understand why the unauthorized biography raises the hackles of its subjects, for it means an independent presentation of their lives, irrespective of their demands and decrees. It is not bended-knee biography. It does not genuflect to fame or curtsy to celebrity, and powerful public figures, accustomed to deference, quite naturally resist the scrutiny that such a biography requires. Oprah Winfrey was no exception.

Does the Neti Pot Really Work

A neti pot is a small pot used for irrigating the nasal passages. Typically it has a spout attached near the bottom, sometimes with a handle on the opposite side.

Neti pots can be made from clay, glass, various metals, plastic, or ceramic. The most durable kinds are made out of either metal or plastic. Some modern variants available from chemists (pharmacies) are made of flexible plastic and can be compressed to exert additional pressure.

Historically, neti pots were used in yoga to assist in clearing the nasal passages, since controlled breathing plays a central role in yoga. The neti pot was introduced to the West approximately thirty years ago, and today many people in the West have taken up a modified type of Neti practice called Jala Neti (water neti) using a neti pot.

Does the Neti Pot Really Work?

Ear, nose, and throat surgeons recommend nasal irrigation with a Neti pot or other method for their patients who've undergone sinus surgery, to clear away crusting in the nasal passages. Many patients with chronic sinus symptoms from bacterial infections, allergies, and environmental irritants also have begun to regularly use the Neti pot or other nasal irrigation devices, claiming that these devices alleviate congestion, facial pain and pressure, and reduce the need for antibiotics and nasal sprays. Research backs up these claims, finding that nasal irrigation can be an effective way to relieve sinus symptoms when used along with standard sinus treatments.

The basic explanation of how the Neti pot works is that it thins mucus to help flush it out of the nasal passages, according to David Rabago, MD, assistant professor in the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and a leading researcher on nasal irrigation.

Remember that the lining inside your nose is delicate, so you don't want to be salting it like you would popcorn. Test the water temperature with your finger and adjust accordingly-too hot can burn and too cold is just not comfortable. Mix well so that the salt is completely dissolved.

KFC Double Down Chicken Sandwich

Sandwich Monday on WWDBM continues. We just sat down with the already legendary KFC Double Down sandwich, which is basically a bacon sandwich with fried chicken in place of the bread.

The much-touted KFC Double Down Chicken Sandwich finally arrives.

Cradled in your hand, it seems a rather paltry thing; indeed, the entire sandwich fit into its tiny paper chemise can barely fill the small cardboard hamburger box it comes in.

Indeed, the sandwich is an almost total dud. The chicken itself is stringy and none-too-tender, the taste of the cheese pointedly interferes with the mild chicken flavor, and the bacon is indiscernible if you bite down on the whole thing at once.

We worried that our Fork in the Road version of the sandwich would be inferior, but it turns out we had nothing to worrry about. We pretty much nailed the sauce, too: a ketchup, mustard, mayo hybrid of no distinction. One thing, though: the sandwich by itself is so filling, you won't need any sides. It's probably not the worst $5 meal in town.



Earlier this year, the chain unveiled a healthier dining option -- Kentucky Grilled Chicken -- under the Unthink ad campaign. But KFC uses the same Unthink logo in a Double Down TV advertisement, where a man exclaims "there should be more chicken in a chicken sandwich!"

The price of the sandwich varies but in Omaha, one foodie found it selling for $4.99, with combos -- including fries and soda pop -- going for $6.99.

sapnaa babul ka…. bidaai, started off on the 10th of October, 2007 with many hopes at 9pm on plus. During these 1 1/2 years it has emerged as the top show of television. Earlier it was tuned to 1 hour which made the story very interesting due to the uprising of many twists in the show. However from the past 3 to 4weeks, the story is getting a bit too boring due to over-acting of alekh, and mental disabled man as sometimes he is the smartest man in the world(eg. in judging who is a perfect groom dost for sadhna) and sometimes behaves like a 7 yr old child(in neglecting feelings that sadhna has for him and how bad she will feel if she comes to know this).
