AB McDonald remained the highest scorer from the side of DD and contributed 33 runs off 31 balls. Now DD needs to win its last 2 matches for the entry of semi-final. Match 2: Chennai Super Kings vs. Kolkata Knight Riders at Chennai Result: CSK win the match by 9 wickets The match was very important for both CSK and Kolkata Knight Riders. Both teams need to win this match, only winner of this match could have entered into semi-finals. However, KKR put up a dismal show and managed to pile up just 139 runs. Ashwin did the trick for Chennai by giving early jolts to Kolkata and KKR couldn't get over it throughout the game. Chennai started in a blistering fashion, though it lost Hayden in very first over. Exciting knock by Raina nicely supported by Murali Vijay lead CSK to a convincing victory over KKR by 9 wickets. Today's Match: Rajasthan Royals vs. Royal Challengers Banglore at Jaipur Both teams will fight for the entry into Semi-final. The loser of the match will be out from IPL-3. Things are very complicated for RR because they have their next match with KKR, the team (KKR) is also looking for semi-final ticket while RCB will fight against MI, MI could take this match lightly because they are already in semi-final.
