The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Hitting Cinema

It's going to be outfitted to look like the Dawn Treader, because the one used for the film was not built to be seaworthy and is now a huge part of film history. So they opted to hire this company to make a Dawn Treader that will likely be used for the World Premiere of the film. Actual usage remains to be seen.

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a fantasy novel for children by C. S. Lewis. Written in 1950, it was published in 1952 as the third book of The Chronicles of Narnia. Current editions of the series are numbered using the internal chronological order making Dawn Treader the fifth book.

Lucy and Edmund Pevensie return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace where they meet up with Prince Caspian for a trip across the sea aboard the royal ship The Dawn Treader. Along the way they encounter dragons, dwarvf camps, and a band of lost warriors before reaching the edge of the world.

Paranormal Activity 2 Is Crushing The Audience

That job became available when Kevin Greutert was forced to depart when Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures enforced an option that made him the director of Saw 3D, the film that opens against the Paranormal sequel on October 22. Interesting choice of a filmmaker best known for directing The Door in the Floor, an inventive adaptation of the John Irving novel A Widow For One Year. The sequel was written by Michael Perry and is being produced by Oren Peli (who directed the original) and Jason Blum, with Akiva Goldsman and Steven Schneider exec producers. Production will start in May.

"I have some awesome news for the fans of 'Paranormal Activity,'" Peli said. "Director Kip Williams will join us for the next chapter of the story. We are thrilled to have Kip working with us. He is the guy we want at the helm, because he knows exactly what we want to deliver to the fans... and I can't wait to be a part of what he's putting together. I don't want to spoil the story but I promise it'll surprise you. Stay tuned."

Paramount has hired screenwriter Michael R. Perry and director Kevin Greutert to create the sequel to 2009's biggest surprise hit, "Paranormal Activity," which scared up $151 million in worldwide grosses in the fall on a shoestring $15,000 budget and a shrewd, opt-in Web marketing campaign.

Be sure to commit these to your memory, so when Toy Story 3 hits theaters next weekend you'll be ahead of everybody else.

Toy Story 3 is an upcoming American 2010 computer-animated 3D film and IMAX 3D film, being produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the third installment in the Toy Story series and is scheduled for release on June 18, 2010 in the United States and July 23, 2010 in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Lee Unkrich takes over as director. Ken Schretzmann is the editor.

One such incident occurred when Jonah was only ten years old. Plot
Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin) is a scarred drifter and bounty hunter of last resort, a tough and stoic gunslinger who can track down anyone... and anything. Having survived death, Jonah's violent history is steeped in myth and legend, and has left him with one foot in the natural world and one on the "other side." His only human connection is with Leila (Megan Fox), whose life in a brothel has left her with scars of her own. But Jonah's past is about to catch up with him when the U.S. military makes him an offer he can't refuse: in exchange for his freedom from the warrants on his head, he must track down and stop the dangerous terrorist Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich). Jonah Woodson Hex is a Western comic book antihero created by writer John Albano and artist Tony DeZuniga and published by DC Comics. Hex is a surly and cynical bounty hunter whose face is horribly scarred on the right side, and who is bound by a personal code of honor to protect and avenge the innocent. He is portrayed by Josh Brolin in the 2010 film adaptation of the same name.

Mountain West Conference Boise State To Join

The Falcons lacked offensive prowess and were regularly victims of athletic mismatches against the better teams in the Mountain West. And it's hard to see anything changing next season even though optimistic players like to think better times are on the horizon for the young squad.

The Mountain West Conference (or MWC), the youngest of the college athletic conferences affiliated with the NCAA's Division I FBS (formerly I-A), officially began operations in July 1999. Geographically, the MWC covers a broad expanse of the western United States, with member institutions located in California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. Craig Thompson has served as Commissioner of the MWC since its founding in 1999.

"It will be a privilege to compete and partner with such a successful group of member institutions," Boise State president Robert Kustra said in a statement. "This move is in the best interests of Boise State's future, and the university is excited to be part of one of the nation's most outstanding conferences."

"Membership in the Mountain West Conference is a milestone moment for the entire Bronco sports program," said Boise State athletic director Gene Bleymaier. "The new alignment will help our student-athletes by minimizing distant travel and developing more intermountain competition."

Nick Hofert awoke just after 2 a.m. to screams from families, some with children as young as 4, hurrying up a hill toward his cabin, looking for higher ground. He filed them into his home and went back out, trying to find those family members who were separated from the group.

The Caddo and Little Missouri rivers rose a massive 20 feet overnight, inundating campers and hikers in the Ouachita Mountains, an area that also contains holiday homes and U.S. Forest Service camp grounds, The Associated Press reported.

In largely agrarian Arkansas, the Flood of 1927 covered about 6,600 square miles, with thirty-six out of seventy-five Arkansas counties under water up to thirty feet deep in places. In Arkansas, more people were affected by the floodwaters (over 350,000), more farmland inundated (over two million acres), more Red Cross camps were needed (eighty of the 154 total), and more families received relief than any other state (41,243). In Arkansas, almost 100 people died, more than any state except Mississippi. In monetary terms, the losses in Arkansas (totaling over $1 million in 1927 dollars for relief and recovery) surpassed any other affected state.

NHRA Death Going To Look At Everything

"Our hearts, our prayers and our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the woman who passed away. The woman's name has not been released to protect the privacy of her family."

The NHRA Arizona Nationals first round eliminations were taking place when Antron Brown's top fuel dragster crashed because it lost it's left rear tire. The tire flew into the crowd before slamming into and a woman identified as Susan, she was not instantly killed as previously reported.

Believed to be the circuit's first non-competition fatality since the late 1970s, it follows the on-track deaths of Funny Car drivers Eric Medlen (2007) and Scott Kalitta ('08). Medlen's death from a severe tire shake during a test sparked teams and drivers to reinforce the rollcage and cockpit; Kalitta's passing led NHRA to shorten distances for nitro-methane classes from a quarter-mile to 1,000 feet.

"We are going to look at everything," NHRA vice president Jerry Archambeault told reporters. "We won't walk away from this and do nothing. We will react and make changes, as we have proven many times in the past."

Its mission to slow cars down from 300-mph runs now adds the challenge of protecting spectators from flying debris.

"The last 400 feet, I was this close to crashing," Anderson said during ESPN2 coverage. "I have never been this close to crashing. I have been driving these things a long time. I'm not trying to say I'm some kind of great driver or anything. It is impassable out there.

Ex-PM Aziz not to join Musharraf’s Party the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML)

"I am in Punjab to establish our party structure here. We will establish it across Pakistan. I can see a bright future for Musharraf in Pakistan."

Aziz, who is currently on a tour to Canada, clarified that he would not be joining the APML as politics was not his cup of tea.

He said Musharraf would defend himself in a ìpolitical wayî before the masses. He, however, avoided a direct reply to a question as to what extent the fate of the All Pakistan Muslim League would be different from the party formed by former Army chief General (retd) Aslam Beg.

Musharraf imposed a state of emergency and sacked about 60 judges in November 2007 when the supreme court appeared poised to declare him ineligible to contest a presidential election while in military uniform.

"Musharraf will certainly come. He will face all the charges. These are politically motivated cases with no evidence," said Saif.

Saif, an unofficial spokesman for Musharraf, is active in organising the new political party and said the former president had told him in London that he intended to return to Pakistan and fight a criminal case.

The All Pakistan Muslim League, led by former president Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf, has started its 'political journey' from Karachi to target, what its representatives call, the politics of dynasty in order to empower the masses.

Aziz, who is currently on a tour to Canada, clarified that he would not be joining the APML as politics was not his cup of tea.

"Politics is not for everyone. You do not need a political office to serve the nation," The News quoted Aziz, as saying.

"I have formally applied for a new political party called All Pakistan Muslim League. Pervez Musharraf is the head of this party and we will formally announce it after getting registered," he said.

Pakistan police registered a case against Musharraf last August, a precursor to potentially putting the ex-president on trial for detaining judges in 2007 as he attempted to cling onto power.
