Watch Online Free Resident Evil Four (4) Trailer and Teaser Posted: 10 Sep 2010 02:09 PM PDT ALICE (Milla Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles. Resident Evil: Afterlife: What can I tell you? Milla Jovovich vs. virus franchise, video-game adaptation, only wide release this week, Universal isn't screening it ahead of today's opening, guns, blood and obviously 3-D. Congratulations, Paul W.S. Anderson, here's your crown for the week. Starring Milla Jovovich, Wentworth Miller, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Kacey Barnfield, Shawn Roberts, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe, Norman Yeung, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. But then, this is Afterlife's inherent problem: it's entertainment as bludgeon. And after almost a hundred minutes of its pounding soundtrack and endless succession of projectiles and feet flung directly into our face. |
iPhone 5 Powerful Graphic | iPhone 5 Exclusive Preview | iPhone 5 Major LTE Capabilities Posted: 10 Sep 2010 04:36 AM PDT Once again, rumors of a smaller iPad with a 7-inch screen are surfacing. iLounge's source claims the smaller iPad is "substantially finished and will be ready for announcement either later this year or early in 2011. Apple has been prototyping devices with screens of this size for a long time quite possibly predating the original iPhone." We always liked the idea of a smaller, cheaper iPad that's more pocket friendly, so we hope this is true. But we're wondering if Apple will do anything this year that might slacken the demand on the current iPad, which continues to sell very well. Some of you will undoubtedly say, "Wow, David, the iPhone 4 has barely been released and you're already talking about No. 5." My answer: Why not? For a guy like me, who already owns an iPhone 3GS and won't be buying the iPhone 4 (as great as it may be, it's missing some features I want), I've already moved on and I'm looking ahead. The end result of my iPhone 5 fantasies is a list of 20 items ordered from least to most important in a reverse countdown. I've also included what we think are the odds of Apple actually implementing each request. As always, feel free to agree or disagree with me and make your own suggestions (and to post your own ordered wish list). I will update the list after the comments start rolling--so get your two cents in. Perhaps Apple's listening.iPhone 5 - Not much meat on this one, but the word is that Apple is pushing up the release date of the fifth-generation iPhone to "early 2011." Translation: as soon as January. The reason is believed to be because of the antenna issues with the iPhone 4. Another rumor, which sounds far more plausible, is that Apple is looking for a cheaper way to make the bumpers that it is currently giving out for free. Current speculation is to make them out of silicone and without the hard plastic of the present design.New iPods are also expected sooner rather than later to hit the back-to-school buying season. iPods are becoming a smaller part of Apple's business, but we'd be surprised if we didn't see new iPod Nano, Touch and Shuffle. Interestingly, the Shuffle could be getting a small 1.7-inch touchscreen. This iPhone 5 will have dual core processors and higher and powerful graphic chips that can deliver higher video resolutions and better "still" images when taking pictures, AND it will make multi-tasking a breeze. There are a few networks working on building a 4G network. T-mobile would be a likely carrier since they are GSM already. Sprint has a 4G network already... AT&T and Verizon Wireless are in the beginning stages. There are talks of Verizon Wireless getting iPhone sometime in 2010 but it looks like they will get it for sure in 2011 when the new iPhone 5 comes out. |
