John's character in this movie is a cute & fun-loving guy as can be seen by the trailer. The actor who till date has managed to look sizzling hot will now appear super-cute. The ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’ promo of John took me by surprise pleasantly,” She claimed to be totally in love with beau John's new look-”People know him as a stud and in this film, he looks like an adorable simpleton! It’s also so different from the real John who I know. Such is the magic of cinema.” And John reveals about his role- "Sid falls in the cute space – a fun-loving guy with lots of friends." The script is by Pakhi, wife of Abbas Tyrewala as well as the lead actress of the movie Jhoota Hi Sahi. The comedy movie will be hitting the screens sometime in October this year. John has mostly done serious roles in his films and the audience has always seen a romantic hero or a macho man in him. But here he will play a totally different character- guy who is nerdy & cute everything that John is not! | Hand Trapped, Airline Employee Dies at Hyderabad Airport Posted: 05 Sep 2010 08:06 AM PDT  Rajiv Gandhi Airport An employee of Air Asia airline suffered from sudden shock, resulting in death at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Hyderabad. In an unfortunate incident, her hand was trapped in the aerobridge at the moment when the aerobridge was being retracted, soon after boarding. The airline employee, names Amritha Roy was only twenty-four years old. She worked as the Guest Services Officer of Air Asia. The Hyderabad-Kuala Lampur flight departed at 09:50 am, which is when the incident took place. She was due to return but ended up becoming part of this mishap. It was not the trapping of the right arm that killed her. Amritha Roy was allegedly died at the Apollo Medical Centre, where she was quickly rushed after she collapsed. In spite of emergency medical care and provisions, Roy passed away at 10:40 am. The case of the airline employee has been registered as one of 'accidental death' by the police at the RGIA. It is under probe. Such an unanticipated accident raises several questions about safety precautions at the airports too. Hence, the need of the hour was to form an investigating committee to make sure the facts are crystal clear and such incidents do not become frequent. As per a statement of the CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited, a committee is already formed. This will consist of the Chief Operating Officer of Delhi Airport. At the same time, the Chief Security Officer at Hyderabad Airport will also be engaged in the investigation of the case. Amritha Roy's family is extended deep condolences. What is now needed is clear evidence of the events that took place in such a misfortunate happening. |

Talking about the song he says that in his effort to bring about a change in the traditional religious music he has added more elements of rhythm in the form of brass and guitar sections. The music recording studio's owner Shekhar Kale informed that such revolutionary songs are getting a welcoming response by the general people. The director duo Abbas-Mastan are very excited about their sequel to the hit and also with great expectations and promises too. Sources say that this time the thrill and adventure would be double with the most talked about part, that is the cast. The cast includes Saif Ali Khan again, and others are Anil Kapoor and John Abraham. For the ladies, it is decided and finalized to cast in the daring actress who is indeed perfect for the role, especially after she hosts the third season of television hit stunt program Khatro ke Khilaadi 3 – Priyanka Chopra. And to confirm this, the producer of the film Ramesh Taurani also states, “Yes Priyanka Chopra has been finalized for Race 2 while we are still on the look out for 2 more heroines.” The other female actresses though have not been finalized as yet. Despite this no action is being taken by the government for overcoming this serious problem. Moreover, the amount of wheat the nation has is being frittered without any reason in the stores of Food Corporation. According to the latest news that coming from the Border Area named Ferozepur City of Punjab Province lot of wheat is being wasted there. According to the factual information that has been gathered from Ferozepur City nearly 4 Lakh Sacks of the wheat are being profligate there in the stores of FCI. It is matter amazement because all this is happening right under the nose central government of India and State Government of Akali Dal. Currently Mr. Prakash Singh Badal is the Chief Minister of Punjab. All this profligacy of precious wheat is taking place under his nose. Moreover, this matter has been brought into the notice of state government and local Body Government several times. Despite knowing about it the neither State Government nor Local Body Government taking any action for stopping this useless wastage of huge amount wheat. Now we realize why the people of India are dying with hunger pangs? Moreover it will keep on happening until this meaningless wastage will keep on happening in our country. But the matter of worry is this that Punjab is a helping hand for entire nation in terms of wheat production because entire India banks upon the consumption of wheat for survival. When DLN Sources asked the about the wastage of 4 Lakh Sacks of precious wheat so at this officials of FCI branch of Ferozepur City started making lame excuses and lambasted blamed state government for not picking up this wheat so far. There is one point to be noticed that had this wheat been imparted among the needy people so at least the hungry belly of million people could be filled. People are crying in front of the government for imparting this wheat being wasted without any reason but neither deaf state government nor lackluster central government of India is lending an ear to their plea. In addition to it not only FCI, State Government of Punjab and Central Government of India is responsible for this wastage of 4 lakh sacks of wheat. This is because the arrangements that are there for keeping this much wheat safe from torrential rain are inadequate. It is to be noticed that these in Punjab it is raining cats and dogs. So when our sources checked all the arrangements for keeping this much wheat safe were found inadequate. Moreover, when FCI officials were asked about the reasons of improper and insufficient reasons so at this again FCI Officials castigated the state government for not providing enough facilities for the safety of 4 million sacks of wheat that are being wasted there under the rain without any reason. If the wheat is wasted somewhere like this so why the people of that nation or state should not die with hunger pangs? This is the question lingering in the mind of everyone there. Moreover, another question that is striking the mind of end user is that will they have to die with hunger pangs or will they get this wheat to fill their empty belly. Now the fury of the people has started bursting in this regard all over the nation. So it is high time for the government our of nation to pay some heed onto this serious matter. Otherwise that day is not so far away when brutal massacre of million people will take place all over the nation for the sake of some food. So now this wheat being frittered in the stores of FCI Branch of Ferozepur should be imparted among the people as per the orders of the Supreme Court of India. |
| Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey, married on Friday Posted: 05 Sep 2010 01:53 AM PDT  Konkona Sen Sharma One of the most efficient onscreen couple, Konkana Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey, is soon going to tie the knot and become a real one, officially, so said the Mumbai Mirror on the 2nd of September, 2010. The wedding was supposed to take place soon enough, most probably this week itself. Or rather, it has already happened earlier this week, on the 3 of September, 2010. The duo exchanged vows on the lucky Friday. The wedding took place at the couple’s residence of Goregaon. Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey have been living together for about two years already and finally, on the lucky eve of 3 September, at 6 pm, they officially got together. The Times of India photographer, Nilesh Wairkar, snooped around when no one was looking (yes, the media was not really actually invited). Nilesh luckily got a chance to click Ranvir riding his wedding horse. And oh my my! Ranvir was looking smashing in his wonderful wedding attire! The wedding of the Bengal queen was supposed to be a quiet affair with less of the paparazzi to handle. But at least the Times of India, did not make it very easy for them! Although most of the invited celebrities avoided the media, a handful were generous enough to get us a click after the wedding rituals were over. The generous lot consists of Shilpa Shetty and Fardeen Khan. But the special ones, obviously ‘Ranvir and Konkona’ refused to get any shots done. |
