Big B praises Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in his tweets

The hugest compliment and the biggest blessing which any program or channel can get is to receive compliment from Big B. the fact that Big B himself tweeted in his account that he just loves the performance by the participants of Zee TV's television series Sa Re Ga Pa.

this is surely a huge compliment for all the participants and the channel itself to showcase such range of talent and singing performances.

Movie Preview: Aakrosh-Ajay comes up with yet another breathtaking performance

So here we have yet another meaty performance by Ajay Devgan after Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. He is going strong after his latest flick and is surely going to rule the bollywood industry with his acting prowess.

Aakrosh, this movie definitely portrays Ajay Devgan as the most sought out actor in the industry. The plot of the movie is set at the backdrop of cast politics and the atrocities against them and in the middle of it the essence remains with the heartfelt rendering of human emotions and dilemma.

Ajay Devgan plays the role of a CBI officer, who himself is a Dalit and is sound with the politics of caste in the Jhanjhar village in Bihar.

He goes with the diplomatic ways to solve a case of the three missing students in that particular area. Siddhant Chaturvedi , another CBI officer in the same mission just plays the contrasting cgaracter to Pratap and is a no non sense cop who believes that the sole way to get the things done is to do straight investigation and both have a huge clash in ideologies.

Then, the movie has actor like Paresh Rwal who too gives out a terrific performance as a corrupt politician, who is diplomatic and finds utter corrupted wayss to get his things done.

In the midst of all this things, Ajay and Akshaye are to solve a case in which 3 Delhi University students go missing and thus unravels a greater catse based political battle amongst the area.

The women in the movie{Bipasha Basu and Roshni} though don't have any meaty role to offer but are good in their small roles and acts as the pivotal characters in solving the missing case.

On the whole the movie is a worth watch.

So lets take a peek at Knockout and see how this movie fares as a weekend stress-buster.

The Sanjay Dutt starrer is a thriller and action packed movie that strives to show how the human mind can be manipulated if hit at the right point. Sanjay plays the role of a master-mind techno freak, the type who carries around numerous DVDs & weird looking gadgets.

He plays alone & he plays to win. This time his target is none other than Irrfan Khan. The brilliant Irrfan plays the role of a super smart & arrogant investment banker, one powerful enough to change India's destiny.

But challenged by Sanjay Dutt-an omnipresent & yet invisible foe, Irrfan breaks down completely. Sanjay uses his skills both of the mind & technology to trap Irrfan and bring about a counter-heist that would rock the nation.

Knockout also has a now-better actress Kangna Ranaut playing the role of an enthusiastic journo hot on the pursuit of this thrilling piece of 'breaking news'. Het choices will determine the fate of a man's life.

Knockout's script is good although it does bear a resemblance to The Phonebooth, ok I won't reveal anything more and spoil the fun. Mani Shankar has Indianised the concept and added the usual dosage of mirch masala without which Bollywood films are incomplete.

But whether Knockout will be able to compare with A Wednesday standards will be seen after it hits the screens on Wednesday Sep8.

So my advice, do go for Knockout this weekend, those post-'We Are Family' teary eyes need their quota of action.

So here comes Khichdi-the movie. After the huge success of the serial in the television, the makers of the serial converted the small series into a fully fledged movie. But did it really make a mark as a cinematic experience, which is something still to be sorted out.

So, here comes the plot of the movie. Now, Himanshu wants to have a legendary love story, but he is not in love with any girl so it is quite a problem with all happy family to settle on any legendary love story.

The worst part with Himanshu is that, he even cannot make any sensible girl fall in love with him. So now it's quite a situation with him and the family members to fend for hunky dory love story for him.

Here, comes the entry of Parminder, the sweet neighbor of Himanshu to complete the circle. She falls in love with Himanshu and they get engaged and eventually marry each other. But the whole confusion starts from here when the couple comes to the terms with the reality.

They become aware of the fact that they have nothing really in their marriage to feel happy about it and thus, breaking Himanshu's idea to be in a legendary love story.

So, this being the plot of the story, the movie ends up being banal and quite a disappointment to the television series. There is no real fun moment in the movie, unlike the series which was full of punches and kicks throughout.

The family ends up making Himanshu's marriage a happy one by adding spice to it, which seems like a desperate attempt to make the movie tickling. And finally, the climax is so predictable that it does not leave the audience to guess anything. Wish the movie had been just like the series!

CHOTI BAHU….. Sindoor Bin Suhaagan, which have created history by having so many viewers,is now going to an end. This daily soap is aired at 7:30, Monday- Thursday. From last few months it has been facing low TRP rates and has downfall in the number of viewers. As the show was extended with the time period. So the channel has decided to not to continue the show.

The story of the show revolves around Radhika,played by Rubina Dilaik as she is a adopted daughter of Pandit Brij Mohan and Deviki. As she has played a role of youngest daughter-in-law in her family that gave her the name of CHOTI BAHU. Dev Raj Purohit.played by Avinash Sachdev is husband of Radhika.Chhoti Bahu is revolved around spiritual land of Brindavan, the land where Lord Krishna grew up.  Radhika and her sacrifices for the family are focussed in this serial.

A new track has been made for the serial, as Rubina Dilaik will be arriving in tonight’s episode. She will be playing character of Radhika’s twin sisters and will amaze the viewers. She is going to play a role of thief named as Imarti.

Channel has already decided the new serial which would be aired on the same time. The show that is replacing Choti Bahu would be Ram Milayee Jodi. It would be aired somewhere around 17th September .

The producer of the show, DJ’s Creations, also produced shows like Jassi Jaisi Koi Nah aired on Sony TV which was one of the best serial of its time, Left Right Left aired on SAB TV which have so many continuous viewers and Jab Love Hua aired on Zee TV .

Thakita Thakita is a movie from Bhumika Chawla and Bharat Thakur that might have soared the expectations of the audience. But the excitement lasts only till the time they watch the flick as it has nothing substantial to offer. Guest appearances were rather damaging, instead of doing good to the film.

Nagarjuna and Anushka appear in cameo roles but without any proper reason. Maybe the filmmakers themselves were not sure about the quality, so they might have decided to add a selling point. The lead characters are fresh faces and get introduced by Nagarjuna. Anushka is made to act for almost five minutes in a wasteful sequence. Cameos seem to have become a strategy to cover up the weaknesses in the content and direction and the perfect example is this film. Bhumika too appears to have presented herself in an inappropriate role just because the film belongs to her.

The silver lining of the flick is of course the performances of the lead pair and other actors. Both Harshvardhan Rane and Haripriya are blessed with talent and carries a film forward which otherwise has nothing to boast of. Trinetrudu, Siva Prasad and the actor who played a Tamilian too did commendable jobs. Songs and dialogues are forgettable. The overall verdict is Thakita Thakita would have been better without the senior stars' guest roles.

R Chandru ties the knot in Bangalore

R Chandru, director of popular Kanada movies like Taj Mahal & Prem Kahani recently wedded with Yamuna in Bangalore. The wedding ceremony was held in the KNS Convention center in Bangalore .

The wedding hours were set to be between 9.15 to 10.15 am on the 5th of September. The wedding hall was brightly decorated with aesthetic elements such as flowers and the nadaswaram had an exciting range of carnatic music numbers to enthrall the guests.

R Chandu had also hosted a reception ceremony at the same venue on the previous days evening. There were a number of celebrities gracing the occasion that included popular faces amongst directors, producers, film journalists and close family relatives who blessed the bride and the groom during the event.

Actors like Shivaraj Kumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar,Tarun, Ajay, Sanjana, Pooja Gandhi, directors MS Ramesh, Mahesh Babu, Prashanth, Yogish Hunsur, Kanakapura Srinivas the producer and Kaviraj the lyricist were also present at the ceremony.

The guests attending the event were gifted Shawls as a sign of honor. The director R Chandru is very popular for his highly realist works and his first movie was Taj Mahal with stars like Ajai Rao and Pooja Gandhi.

Next in line followed Prem Kahani that had Ajay in the leading role once again. At the moment he has Mylari on block. Mylari is a film that will feature superstar Shivaraj Kumar along with double heroines Sanjjana and Sada. Chandru was engaged in the post production work of the film and will have it released soon.

Mallika now makes her sensational singing debut in Hiss

Mallika Sherawat now makes another sensational debut, this time the lady is going soar by throat. She is lending her voice to the tunes of Julian Lennon. Mallika Sherawat is too excited to work with the son of Beatles' legend John Lennon. The lady has surely put some feather on her cap.

The song is composed by Julian and would be recorded shortly.

Mallika had been out of India for the last whole year. She was in Los Angeles for the whole year, finishing her project.

Hiss would be her first project after a long time. Audiences have not seen much of her work in the last couple of years. After doing The Myth with Jackie Chan she has not made any major movies.

Though, the lady ahs movies like Murder, which was a huge Box Office hit and movie like Bachke Rehna RE Baba in which she shared screen with yesteryear's diva Rekha , though , the movie did not do well at the Box Office but sharing screen space with Rekha must have been some experience in its own.

As of now, Mallika has recorded the song at Los Angeles and she back in Mumbai.  The song would be released as a major portion of the main soundtrack of the movie Hiss. This song would be a part of their mainstream promotions.

Mallika has worked very hard on her songs. She has recorded two songs for the movie and after arranged by Julian , the songs would be forwarded to Lennon for his approval. Her second song is composed by Alexander Von Bubenheim, a German composer.

The film boasts about5 songs.

The movie has an extremely talented line of actors with Irfann Khan and Divya Dutta. The movie is supposed to be released this October.

Salman is apparently nowadays out on a Television rampage as he has been spotted on several shows already during a limited time span, and next in line is 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' the famous Indian soap showcased on the Color's channel. So it would be Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg sharing screen space with the worthy leading lady of the show Nakusha a role essayed by Mahhi Vij. Unfortunately Dutta Bhau did not get this golden opportunity but for Nakku life is on cloud nine as formerly Dutta Bhau has fallen head over heels in love with her and secondly it is Sallu Bhaiya coming to her rescue when faced with a helpless situation.

The buzz has it that Nakusha undergoes a helpless situation wherein she cannot even reveal her true identity to Dutta Bhau, but amidst all Chulbul Pandey AKA Salman Khan comes to her help. The scene builds as Nakusha wanders around on a busy road lost in her thoughts about Dutta Bhau wherein Chulbul enters the scene and he pulls Nakusha into his Jeep in a very heroic way. After this he advice's her to confront her fears and behave bravely by accepting her feelings for Dutta Bhau.

With this turn of events it is being forecasted that Nakku's relationship with Dutta Bhau will undertake a new perspective as she will unravel the truth about her secrets and also leap over the differences that she always maintained with Dutta Bhau because of his authoritative position. Sources also revealed that the shooting schedule with Salman was fixed for 3 hours but the spell of rain showers cut it down to a single hour only. This exciting sequence will be aired today on Colors at 8:30 pm.

Salman Khan is seriously working towards social issues nowadays. From warning cheaters in a relation ship to appreciating common talent, Salman is now active as a mass inspiration on the micro blogging site where he told people to come up for the yesteryear's actress Sadhna who is reportedly being harassed and threatened by her builder to vacate the property in which she has been living since many decades. Salman posted a message on twitter asking as to who is the builder that is harassing this living legend by threatening her to death by cutting down her body parts to bits and pieces.

He also added that in today's time and age even considering that such things happen with legends like Sadhna in our country is very disappointing. He added that the common people should come forward for the 69 year old actress. Sadhana Shivdasani who was very popular for her Aubre Hepbrun kind of hairdo had been living composedly away from all industry lime light in a residential area of 3,000 sq ft around SantaCruz.

After being badly threatened and harassed the actress also lodged a complaint and sought for police protection when her home was pelted with stones by the attackers. The alleged builder tormenting her about vacating the place has been identified as Yousuf Lakdawala, who also threatened to kill her and cut her to pieces if she did not comply with what he demanded. Movie Review: Bale Pandiya comes as a relief to the banal movie world

So finally we get a movie which depicts a different and interesting story and a talented casting. Bale Pandiya comes as a breather in the clichéd movie world. Directed by Siddarth, though, the movie catches up instant similarities with Akshay Kumar's Houseful but the innovative treatment to Bale Pandiya renders the movie with much joyful and funny moments.

The plot of the story revolves around the central character, Pandita, plyed by Vishnu and his misfortunes in his life. He is destined with the worst fate in the whole world and hence wants to put an end to his life. Left with just Rs10, 000 in his kitty, he gives supari of his own name to the city don AKP. Now, the don, AKP is baffled with such a proposition and investigates about Pandiya and finds similarities with his own life and Pandiya's. So, now he strikes a deal with Pandiya and gives him Rs25 lakh and asks him to become a suicide bomber, thus, closing up the deal and simultaneously ending Pandiya's life too. Now, from here comes the big twist and now Pandiya starts to solve all the pending issues of his life and eventually ends up in love with Vaishnavi, a girl kidnapped by AKP. So, he finally tells AKP that he doesn't want to die anymore, but to his horror he finds AKP and his men dead and Vaishnavi kidnapped by somebody. From here starts a whole range of adventurous series.

So, the new story is something to watch out for, the new range of actors is too promising and the music is also becoming a rage with the youth. Songs from the movie, 'Sirikiran' and 'Bale Pandiya' are worth.
So watch out for some fun!!!

Race 2 will have Abhishek instead of Saif

According to the buzz, Saif Ali Khan is moving out of Race's second sequel and instead of him we have Abhishek Bachchan who will be essaying his fast and the furious kind of role. The Abbas Mustan directed flick was a super hit with a star cast of Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Akshay Khanna, Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles. But for the second sequel reports have it that apart from Kat and Bips, Saif will also be bidding adieu to the film.

News has it that junior Bachchan, Abhishek will take charge of Saif's character in the film and will sport the same kind of daring attitude which was a trademark of the film. After all who can forget the serious sort of look that charming Saif portrayed as the do good hero of the flick. The absence of Khan from the film has a cause, and that is that he is heavily occupied working for his home production that also stars his lady love, Kareena Kapoor. Saif's film is titled Agent Vinod is expected to hit screens in the coming year that is 2011. As for race buzz also has it that the two leading lady roles will have Kareena and Priyanka Chopra together.

With Agent Vinod Saif has a proper reason to move away but for Abhishek it is going to be another opportunity to grab with his part in Race 2. The sequel is still in the stage of scripting and until now it is not yet clear as to whether Abhishek will be the final choice along with other cast members opted for the film.

Bharat Bandh and Nationwide Public Sector Bank Strike on 7th September

Among the significant events happening during this week are a nation wide strike by public Sector Bank employees, a rally by Rahul Gandhi and the festival of Eid. Apart from these there are others too scheduled to take place during the same week.

On Tuesday, 7th September, the employees of public sector banks shall hold a strike against the govt measures to welcome more private companies into the banking sector. Disinvestment drive will also be a reason for protest during the strike. Ahead of the polls next year, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is conducting a rally in Kolkata. The initiative falls under the youth membership scheme of the party.

During this week, Professor Ranjan Gupta of the Interuniversity Center for Astronomy & Astrophysics, Pune, shall be seen delivering a speech on the evolution of astronomy and telescopes at the India International Center in New Delhi. On 8th September, New Delhi-based educational organization Center for Civil Society shall conduct a debate  on school syllabus and the subject shall be : "National Curriculum: Does One Size Fit All?". The event is set to take place at India Habitat Center, New Delhi on Wednesday evening. The fourth Health Insurance Summit  of the Confederation of Indian Industry shall also be held in Delhi.  As part of the celebrations of national poet Rabindranath Tagore's 150th birth anniversary, a Bengali cultural group named Rabi Manjusha is organizing a musical at the India Habitat Center.

10th of September shall witness the end of the holy month of Ramadan, marking the festival of Eid. The World Economic Forum also commences on the same day in China.

So this is a final confirmation on all the updates about the much awaited marriage of Bollywood actress Konkona Sen and the hunk Ranvir Shorey. The long time couple has already tied the knot on September 3rd at a very hush hush marriage ceremony at their Mumbai residence. This was later confirmed by the newlywed bride.

This confirmation came via Twitter where the actress posted the message on her page which said that she was married to Ranvir and wants to thank everyone for their wonderful wishes and support.

The much speculated wedding was staged at the couple's residence at Goregoan which had been awaited since the year 2008 when they were reportedly engaged to one another. This wedding was a private affair which was attended by only close friends and family members and to represent Bollywood there was the hunk Fardeen Khan a close friend of the couple and the bubbly shilpa shetty too.

The bridegroom looked handsome in the dress of a Punjabi munda and our pretty Koko was dressed as a Bengali bride with her grandmom's jewels magnifying her Bengali features.

The actor also expressed his joy on his twitter page saying that he wants to thank for the best wishes and that the best advice rather a wish that he has received was that Congratulations you did it once but please don't repeat it!!.

Although Nepal and Sri Lanka may not be big threats for India in terms of power. But China in the east and Pakistan in the west have always been a cause of worry for India's security. Both these nations have always tried to break into Indian Territory illegally and forcibly time to time.

Moreover, once upon a time both China and Pakistan have fought a war too against India. But both had to lick the dust in the war. So the question is that if India has beaten China and Pakistan in a war in the past so how these nations can be a threat to India's security? So in this regard China has been endeavoring since 1962 because it knows that in Asia India is the only one hurdle in the way China. Moreover, Pakistan lost in 1965, 1971 and in 1999 too. Since then Pakistan has also been fishing for chance to teach India a lesson.

China has the army of 21 million. Moreover, So far as arial power and Navy is concerned so here once again China overpowers India slightly. But at the same if China has the biggest army of 23 million soldiers in the world so India is also the second neither to China nor to any nation of the world in this regard because India is second biggest super power of the world. In addition to this India is a Nuclear power also. India may be having slightly less power as compare to China but all the weapons of India are of latest technology.

So far as Pakistan is concerned so it has also been trying to harm India and its unity by hook or crook from all the corners. In addition to it Pakistan is also a nuclear power. Pakistan has always tried to bully India of a nuclear attack. This is nothing because India is also a nuclear power.

Ever since China has seen India rising as a biggest threat to its dream of becoming the biggest superpower of the world it has started developed bellicosity with India. Asia far as Pakistan is concerned so Pakistan has lost to India in the war every time. Both these nations have become sworn enemies of India. Entire world has witnessed the bellicosity of these two nations against India. So China knows that Pakistan is a nuclear power, Neighbor of India and a biggest threat to Indian security. The moment China realized it China shook hands with Pakistan and it has now acquired all the internal projects of Pakistan. In addition to it Pakistan is being supported by China in terms of weapons and money also. So its clear example is Chinese army that is currently present in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

So far as Sri Lanka and Nepal are concerned so these nations may be nothing in terms of power yet these two nations are very important for India because China is trying to seek power in the center in Nepal by supporting Moaists. Moreover, in this regard several audio have been published in the media. Recently an audio tape that published in the media was a clear proof of it. In this audio tape a Chinese official and Moiasts leader Mohara has been heard talking. So it is a crystal clear proof that China is trying to get power in Nepal. In addition to for making Moaists come out with flying colors in the elections of Nepal China tried to buy some Nepali MP's. It proves that to what extent China is trying to push India on a back foot.

So far as Sri Lanka is concerned so China has taken an island in Sri Lanka on lease. This island has been taken on lease by China in order to attack India from south. This is nothing so far because China has been trying to coax Maldives also for allowing them to use it against India for a long time.

In addition to it Chinese army has entered into the Indian territory forcibly many times in the past. Moreover, everybody knows that what Pakistan has been doing in Kashmir since 1989. Now Pakistan has brought Chinese Army into Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. This is what has worried India now.

That is why Indian government has taken this move of China and Pakistan very seriously and test fired a new BrahMos Missile successfully in order to add more ammunition and power. This missile has been test fired in Orissa which is a military base of Indian army.
Moreover, it is a supersonic cruise missile.

According to the director of test range Mr. Dp Daksh this missile test was conducted in Chandipur area of Ballasore. It is nearly 230 km away from Bhubaneswar. DP Daksh told about the launch also. He said that the launch of this missile met all the needs and it was hypnotic.

This frantic missile has been designed by the joint endeavors of India and Russia. It is potential of carrying nearly a weight of 300 kg.  It can attack nearly up to 290 km.

It has been named after pious rivers Brahmaputra of India and Moskova of Russia. According to the information acquired from BrahMos aerospace spokesperson it is an advanced version of BrahMos Block-||.

In accordance with the cogitation of Indian Armed Forces Senior Officers it is great to see a Supersonic Dive being released by a cruise Missile. Moreover, everybody from the armed forces declared it a perfect precise flight.

This launch has also been witnessed by the Defense Minister of India Mr. AK Antony and  Director General of Artillery in the Army Lieutenant General Vinod Nayanar. At this occasion CEO and managing director of BrahMos Aerospace Mr. AS Pillai was also present there. All of them congratulated all the scientists related to this project for their success.

So it is being considered a preparation for defense in case China attacks India from anywhere anytime.
