Ananya Chatterjee has won th best actress in leading role in female category while Amitabh bachchan has been awarded best actor ( male) for his performance in PAA. Rituparno Ghosh won the best director for the movie Abohoman( Ananya for Abohoman too). Best supporting actress won by Arundhati Nag for Paa, Best supporting actor is Farooq Shaikh for Lahore, Best Hindi film – Paa, Special jury award – Srikar Prasad (for editing Kutty Srank, Pazhasi Raja & Kaminey), Best Film with Social Message won by Delhi6. The most popular film award was won by Aamir’s 3 Idiots and the best Malayalam film award won by Pazhassi Raja.  |
