2010 Christmas Wishes and Greetings to one and all Posted: 24 Dec 2010 03:55 AM PST Christmas wishes and greetings to one and all, as the holiday season has already begun, there is an aura of joy and peace everywhere. This holiday season we should all celebrate the Christmas event together, which will be signifying the greatness of love on Earth. Christmas is a festival that is celebrated almost everywhere, especially in most of the Christian countries around the world. Sending a Christmas wish or a greeting will further enhance the spread of love around the world, and this is the only way one can signify his spirit this Holiday Season. One of the main reason wishes and greetings have been given to everyone, is that it makes people’s relationships and bonds more concrete with each other. We have some wishes and greetings for everyone - “Wish you a Merry Christmas and may this festival bring abundant joy and happiness in your life!” “You are special, you are unique; may your Christmas be also as special and unique as you are! Merry Christmas!” “May joy and happiness snow on you, may the bells jingle for you and may Santa be extra good to you! Merry Christmas!” “Sending the warmest Christmas wishes to you and your family. Gwyneth Paltrow: Dating Brad Pitt And Ben Affleck Was “Strange” Posted: 24 Dec 2010 02:12 AM PST After being married to Coldplay front man Chris Martin for 7 years, Gwyneth Paltrow finally talked about her romance. Through a special interview for E!, the 38-year-old star disclosed that she doesn't really enjoy being in a celebrity relationship such as the ones she previously had with Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck. “It was strange to be part of a public couple," she said in the interview. While Gwyneth was having her well-known relationship with brad Pitt, her privacy was entirely gone – and she was not really pleased about that. Then Gwyneth dated Ben Affleck, who was somehow less famous than Brad. Still, a buzz was to be expected when the couple got together. Learning from her past experience, Gwyneth finally settled with Chris Martin and they tied the knot in 2003. Since then, the couple has been very rarely caught together in a photograph. So, what is their secret key to a successful marriage? The ability to remain private. |
Bret Michaels and Kristi Gibson: Engaged! Posted: 23 Dec 2010 08:40 PM PST
After 16 years of relationship – and months of engagement buzzes, Bret Michaels finally proposed to Kristi Gibson on the finale of Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It on VH1 – and she responded positively. As he got down on his one knee, Michaels told Gibson, "I love you, and you've been unbelievably a big part of my life, and we have two beautiful girls together. … I know we love and respect each other, and I hope that we can find that inner love that we have forever. And I want you to be my wife. Please say yes or the rejection will kill me right now." Throughout their on-off relationship Kristi Gibson and Bret Michaels have had two daughters together, Raine Elizabeth (10) and Jorja Bleu (5). To PEOPLE, Bret Michaels admitted that he wants Gibson to be his wife because after all things that he has been through (including his really terrible brain hemorrhage in April), Gibson and their children are the ones who stayed by his side every step of the way. “Kristi – she’s the one who put up with me all these years.” |
7 Most Impressive Chinese and What They Can Do Posted: 23 Dec 2010 07:11 PM PST
Maybe I am too easily impressed. These seven people and products stand out sometimes literally above the clouds or below the crowds. In any event, there are not many Chinese who can do what these seven can do. Any challengers? 1. The bravest driver on the road
2. The most crowded subway
3. The boldest driver
4. The wildest accident
5. The highest bridge in construction
6. The richest beggar
7. The hardest working postman

China’s Earthquake Shakes Companies Worldwide Posted: 23 Dec 2010 03:10 PM PST
Japanese companies are feeling tremors from the recent earthquake in China. American companies are feeling them. Okay, everywhere they are being felt. Intel Corp. has a chip testing and assembly plant in the area. Nokia Corp. is missing two of its employees from its sales office in the area. Motorola Inc has two of their employees injured. Microsoft Corp received damage to its building in the area.
Micron Technology lost water and lights. IBM Corp lost communications with some people in the region. Hitachi Ltd's joint venture in Chengdu (they make inverters) was forced to halt production. Fujitsu Ltd also suspended operations at its semiconductor development joint venture, also in Chengdu. Suzuki Motor Corp and Mazda Motor Corp halted operations briefly. Toyota operations were halted as well. All told, more than 150 Japanese firms were affected. More tremors will be felt by Japan bean counters in the coming reports, eh? |
Zac Efron Shaves His Head For The Lucky One Posted: 23 Dec 2010 01:37 PM PST Spotted in New Orleans, on the set of The Lucky One was Zac Efron in his military outfit – along with his unanticipated military-style haircut. After High School Musical, Zac Efron had reportedly been actively occupied for his latest role in The Lucky One. Which for the role, he had to cut his signature wavy locks away. Even so, it seems that Zac was not the only one who got his head shaved. Through his representative, Zac admitted that he contributed his hair to the Locks of Love program. "He likes doing things for charity. Two Make-A-Wish kids came a visit to the set while he was there and he felt like he wanted to do something for a New Orleans charity since he had such a nice time shooting there.” But that's not all. Furthermore for the good cause, Zac challenged the other movie crews to join the program by shaving their head. For each crew of the movie who also shaves their head, he would contribute a donation to a children's charity in that area named Kingsley House. Approximately 30 people – including two women – contributed and donated their hair to Locks of Love. |

Electronic Information Exports Expected to Hit $390 Billion! Posted: 23 Dec 2010 07:08 AM PST China's Ministry of Information says the export of electronic information products is expected to grow about 14% to $390 billion in '07. The ministry is encouraging large electronic information companies – computers, survey equipment, communications products to tie up with overseas companies and invest abroad in order to help offset the coming further increase in the trade deficit. More than one-third (36.5%) of China's total foreign trade goes to the U.S. Every three months when the quarterly trade imbalance is announced, people in the U.S. will cry unfair, revalue the yuan, dumping….and then go back to buying too much from China and not selling enough. If the U.S. has something that China wants, at a price the Chinese can pay, and enough of it…then and only then will the trade imbalance begin work itself out. What do you think is the solution to the trade deficit the U.S. faces with China…what the world faces with China? |
