Apple Ipad apps – Gmail launched by google

Yesterday on official Gmail blog, Google announced their new app for Apple Ipad. With his app, they are launching an experimental two-pane user interface to take advantage of its large touchscreen and tablet form factor.


This new interface of Gmail app, displays your conversations on the left and your messages on the right hand side.

This new interface will make this app quite user friendly and can mails can be easily read on such devices.

To try Gmail on Ipad, go to gmail.com in Safari or if you want quicker access then create a homescreen link for this one.

At present its oly available in US Englis only, for other language, it will be announced later.

The 34th match of Indian premier League has started just fewminutes back. This match is being played between Kolkata knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab team.



Due to the previous superb performance of Ganguly, kolkata got their much needed victory while Punjab is in worst condition as per performance. Punjab so far has only won one match.

Earlier today, Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and elected to bat first. Sourav Ganguly and Chris Gayle have given a good but slow start and are at 25 runs in 3 overs.

Bad news for Punjab is that Shaun Marsh has hurt his back in the warm up yesterday and so Jayawardene is back in the team. Juan Theron and Ramesh Powar making entry in place of Brett lee and Sreesanth.

Temperature at that place is around 26″c and track is little damp due to the rain occurred in previous qualifying match of Malaysian GP.



Heavy rain caused a havoc at Sepang Kuala Lumpur during qualifying, producing a fascinating starting grid for Sunday’s Malaysian Grand Prix, scheduled to begin at 0800 GMT in a few moments from now.

Earlier in the Malaysian qualifying Grand Prix race, Mark Webber of Red Bull overcame hazardous damp conditions and took the lead position at the Malaysian Grand Prix 2010.

As per stat, Michael Schumacher ( the champ) has the most victories at Sepang track with 3 while Fernando Alonso & Raikkonen have two victories each. Ferrari has the most wins by any constructor with five in 11 attempt. Renault and McLaren each have won twice.

Due to the bad performance in previous race, the top four men in the drivers’ championship will start from the last 8 positions.
